I was angry seeing an AI P47 climbing like an UFO in front of my Corsair's nose.

I bet you can't win a BF109. beside A8 is a less powerful plane than a Dora. I don't know what level of AI you used, but this AI plane is somehow .... stupid. With decent AI, they always try to out climb you at first. Edit: I tried against the A8, it's easy.

Have you tried dogfighting the other planes like BF109 or FW190 ? Max speed in a straight and level flight is nothing. I'm not a rookie, I have years of experience dogfighting in IL-2.

+ dogfighting the Bf109 is really hard. I got ass-kicked by AI 5-6 times to 1. The only chance I got is head-on which was rarely happening because the Bf109 is faster and can climb better. With boom and zoom tactics I managed to beat a slower P-47. But most of the time, the Bf109 easily got to my 6. Apparently turn and burn doesnt work with Bf109, even it is hard to out turn the P-47 in a horizontal dogfight. The Corsair in DCS is very different from IL-2. I was a IL-2 player and familiar with dogfighting tactics. In IL-2 the F4U Corsair can do BnZ and TnB quite good.

I used to like the F4U corsair until flying this module in DCS. It is slow like a snail, handling like a brick. I used to love this plane in IL-2. But flying this plane in DCS is like a pain in the a$$. Acceleration is a misery, turning is a gambling. Although I can land this plane on carrier for the first attempt and never failed. I owned all the other warbirds and flying prop planes is fun to me, except this Corsair. how come a fast, strong plane named whistle of death is like this ? I tried dogfighting with P-47 and it was a struggling to keep up with that P-47. I don't really understand. I may refund this plane if it is possible.

I can confirm there is a problem with drag/payload after firing all of them. It seems drag/payload are not cleared after firing. So the aircraft remains slow.

Folks, this aircraft has problem with drag with rockets. It's still draggy even after firing all rockets. | It's easy to replicate this problem so I will not post a track here. @BIGNEWY Please take note.

I second this. I tested some missions and this is true. This aircraft has problem with payload/drag/speed before and after firing rockets (don't know HVAR or Tiny Tim)

I mean everytime I want to fly the Raptor, I need to jump into any F-15C cockpit first.
