  1. Update: I found using the older version of Opentrack with the updated PS3 eye universal driver seems to work. Making a new Opentrack profile seems to have cured the instability issues too (cross fingers).
  2. I just switched to the latest version of Opentrack (had no choice as the PS3eye camera drivers no longer work) and found it to be really buggy; it's slow, stuttery and sometimes freezes up all together. It's really annoying because I had the last one working sweetly with DCS. Anyone else experiencing this?
  3. I wish they'd make things clear! So it isn't 'dropping' in the next update, it's a new version of the same game but with extra planes, it's not out yet, and you've got to buy it by the end of next month. Have I got that right now?
  4. Ok, that makes more sense now - it's not an automatic update. So how do I buy it? There's no link and It's not appearing in the e-shop.
  5. Hi all A bit confused here (what's new?): The website says that that this is an upgrade for existing users for $9.99. How can it be an automatic update if you have to pay them first?? It says it's only valid till the end of July too.
  6. Thanks guys. Turning on vsync has fixed it.
  7. No. Haven’t tried that. Will give it a go later.
  8. Help me out here guys! Bought a brand new PC. Installed DCS and ut's looking fantastic). The trouble starts when I switch on Opentrack. It runs extremely slow, with what I can only describe as a vertical 'wiping' effect as the screen refreshes when I move my head around. It all ran fine on my old mac/bootcamp) system. So I can't figure what could be wrong as I haven't done anything different this time as far as I'm aware. It happens on all planes too. Specs below: Windows 11 Home Motherboard: Asrock A520M CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X CPU 3.4GHz (4.6 Turbo), 8-Core CPU Cooler: AMD Stock Cooler ) RAM: 32GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance 3000mhz 2x16GB NVME SSD: 1TB Kingston NV2 PCIE 4.0 NVME SSD 3500/2100 MB/s Graphics: NVIDIA RTX 4070 SUPER 12GB Power Supply:750W GameMax Networking: WiFi/Bluetooth PCIE Card PS Eye camera Any help would be appreciated!
  9. Same problem here and with Windows 11. I'm quite new to PCs, being primarily a mac user, so what are GUIDs, where are they, and how would I export them and to where? I spent a long time binding joystick buttons and I'd hate to have to configure them all again. Simple steps please as I'm getting old as well!
  10. I think I get it now. Nothing is simple round here is it? I've done quite a bit of supporting for this game already!
  11. Can you clarify: It says: "Your existing DCS: Normandy 1944 map will be updated for free so that the whole area of the original map is in the same high-detail as in the DCS: Normandy 2.0." Then it says: "If you wish to, you may pay $14.99 USD to upgrade to DCS: Normandy 2.0 for all the benefits described above." So what do you get for $14.99 that isn't in the free update in the first sentence? Confused - again!
  12. Thanks guys. Got it now. Seen George in action on Youtube too. AH-64 will be next on my shopping list!
  13. This might sound like a daft question, but how does a 2 seat aircraft, such as the AH-64 or F-14 work in DCS, when there's only one player? You can't be in both seats at once!
  14. Well I'm glad to have been of help to someone then! Meanwhile my problem is solved: My USB hub had gone bad on me. I tested it by plugging straight through, which worked. Now it's gone completely. Not had it that long either. Very annoying. It was the fact that nobody else had experienced this that made me think hardware. Ok thanks everybody.
  15. Thanks. Looks like I'll have to bite the bullet and raise a ticket then...
