Hey there, i was wondering about the blue/red side thing. How does the server know on which side to put me after the first time? It is an IP check, is a file stored on the PC or what? Also, i tried joining the server, i'm quite new and i was really lost. Is there a guide somewhere? Frequencies, tankers, missions? What should one do at FARPS? I'm mainly flying fighters, but would like to understand the ground game. For example, on red side, people were telling me to tune SRS to 126 mhz, while the -freq command showed 121 mhz for GCI-east. Which is correct?

Hi, i don't know if there's a problem with my installation or soundcard, but i hear a "wind" sound in the mirage cockpit. The sound goes away when looking left or right, and makes the aircraft so much "calmer" that way, that i sometimes just lock the camera to a side to have my ears cool down :p The sound seems to abruptly start or stop at a certain head position range, it's not smooth. Does it happen to everyone else? Is there a way to remove this sound? I really like how quiet it is when looking left or right

Would it be possible to make an estimate of the time it will take to get on steam, based on previous modules? Is it months? Years? Weeks?

Hi there, i'm having this problem lately. I can't say if it was present before, i never noticed it and it's kinda subtle, but once you notice it it's very annoying. My entire screen, in game on in the main menu, is flickering but only when the mouse pointer is over the game window. I have two screens and, as soon as i move the mouse on the secondary monitor, the flicker goes away. If i move it back, the flickering also comes back. I also noticed that if i click on the secondary monitor, then move the mouse inside thet game without clicking, there's no flickering. This also happens after i press ALT-C to disable the moue pointer (however, i notice that in this mode, when i pan my view with the mouse too far towards the second monitor, the cursor appears in windows and is not locked to the game anymore) The problem is also very intermittant, sometimes it doesn't do this at all (or i'm not noticing) Anyone has the same problem?

Do we still need to download this? Does steam have the latest campaign?

I tried that, but there's the old manual for me in the steam version (i reverted back to 1.5.8 for now). I can't use the mirage in the shop version as it's not activatable. On another note, would it be easier for an english speaker to learn the plane using the english mod? It would be way more intuitive, but i fear it might be harder to follow the tutorial or manuals
