I am disappoint btw. It's been months and still i cannot use the f18 competitively in MP. TWS and IFF would fix that.

Hornet still shows as UK and it was released months ago. Soon the F14 will show as UK. My wallet also will show UK in the future for razbam.

I'm currently finding very hard (read: impossible) to align a ground target in front of me after the initial pass and doing a 180 degree turn, trying to drop gbus. The CCRP line wobbles left and right and is clunky (i know it's bugged). Is there any way to align against the target again without pitching down and losing altitude? I tried flying to center the TPOD dot but it's really hard. Tried looking for the hud cue, but again it's not roll stabilized and can't be used to guess where the target is. Is there any workaround? I can't use the jet for its main intended role at the moment. How are you guys doing multiple runs on a target area? How far do you have to leave the target behind before coming back for another pass?

I want the plane to be usable and competitive in multiplayer. That means any way to lock and IFF, even just LTWS. And fixing the radar which is losing lock. Anything else is secondary. The plane is just not usable right now in MP without severely handicapping yourself. -
Yes, but that removes the entire cockpit. That's not what i want. I just wish to remove the canopy frame or make them transparent.

Is there a mod like that? Would it be technically feasible/working in MP? I really hate the canopy frames and the f16 is still a long way out.

I am in the same situation as the OP, with the difference that i know the theory really well. I understand how the radar cone works perfectly, i know all instruments, many maneuvers, etc. However, i can't even see if there's another plane at the far end of the runway when i take off. I try to follow people in MP, and i usually lose sight of them a bit after they are airborne, while i'm ready to go on the runway. They take off, turn a bit, and i completely lose them. When i pause the replay and look very slowly i eventually find them, but they are incredibly small pixels even at 1nm or whatever the runway length is. They seem to be a little more evident when i zoom out completely -- but then i have fish vision and can't read any instrument I'm starting to question my monitor (LG 29UM59A at 2560x1080) or my eyesight (i have shortsightness, and i'm missing ~0.5 degrees over my glasses, but that shoulnd't make a difference at monitor distances)

I produced a track and no one answered. I also think that it may be the issue you describe, but not necessarily opposite, just from different antennas maybe? In multiplayer you always have things around you and almost every lock is multiple.

Is there one? I know it's likely realistic, but it gives me an impression of having low fps and it's bothering me.

The mirage is a great plane, but there are a few annoying bugs. Changing PRF mode works correctly, i use it all the time. Radar scan volume has no issues that impact gameplay, and B scope functions correctly. Dropping tanks has a bug where sometimes you cannot lock, but if you remember to immediately select a new weapon after dropping the tank, this becomes a non issue. The real annoying things are, right now: - RWR is unclear, contacts clump near the center resulting in you not knowing which direction you are being locked from. - Atm, anti collision lights are bugged and must be shut down (or risk epilepsy attacks). This is a new bug and will likely be solved soon. - CCIP cannot drop some bombs precisely in some situations. You will miss. - Wrong closure rate: true, and a bit annoying, but happens at a range where you can clearly see your target and estimate a closure rate. Still annoying sometimes when you are trying to judge if your IR missile will have energy to hit or not. I still believe it is a gorgeous plane.

Yes, but as soon as you input a course, that mark seems to disappear.

Hello, i am a little confused by the TACAN cues in the hud, only after i select a course. I mostly understand how to line up with my selected course, but i can't understand how to know where my nose is pointing relative to the actual tacan station. Is seems the arrow rest to the side rather than over or on the velocity vector even when i'm aligned correctly. The mark on the hud compass also disappears as soon as a course is selected. Is this normal behaviour? Is there a way to know where the tacan station is using the hud only, after i selected i course? Also, what is the correct procedure to intercept the course line? Edit: i watched the video about ADF and tacan by Wags, but i still cannot understand how to determine the tacan's station position in course mode

Hello, i think i am experiencing a bug. Playing multiplayer with the M2000c, i find that most of the times when a contact is locking me (circled on rwr) i get multiple contacts with the lock symbol, so i cannot determine which one is locking me. It happens with airborne targets and with sams. I *think* that's normal with SAMs that might have different radars, but airborne targets shouldn't do that?

I was hoping for the same. I feel the F15 radar already has quite an advantage over the mirage one. Isn't the F/A 18 radar better than the mirage IRL? I wanted to buy the 18 as single aircraft able to do almost everything, but if A2A is worse than mirage.... unsure now

I really think this will result in way more negative reviews than the other way around. Also: will the aircraft participate in summer steam sales?
