  1. In Lock On I don't think there is a standard APG-63 model and it seems to combine features of the original and of v1. The full color MPCD is part of the APG-70 and replaced the PACS. It's funny because I own Steve's book and that's where I get my information from. :) He says that the original-63, not the improved one, has the 10nm range AACQ modes and no RAID.
  2. Sorry but I meant the original APG-63... I forgot the "v1" model is the upgraded version. The original APG-63 had no RAID mode and it's AACQ modes were only good to a range of 10nm. I think this is what you are seeing in Lock On... the first version APG-63 in the F-15C. The improved APG-63 has the RAID mode, 15nm AACQ mode range, and better look down capability but we don't have that in Lock On. MSIP II added the APG-70. There is always a chance. :)
  3. I have absolutely no idea what it takes to code or change code so I have no answer... sorry.
  4. I think it's a great idea!
  5. I guess if you removed the ECM capability out of Lock On altogether it would make things much more simple. :) I have no problem with TWS tracking targets after one or more are bugged. A RAID breakout mode would be very welcome but I have no idea if it's suitable for the APG-63v1. Personally... for the first effort and the fact Eagle Dynamics also had to model the A-10A at the same time, I think they did very well with the F-15. We had to wait almost 10 years for the Su-27 by Eagle Dynamics to be modeled to the standard it is now in v1.1. I doubt you'll have to wait that long for the F-15C. :)
  6. I'll look into it but I leave for the arctic tomorrow for 2 weeks.
  7. We always ask for this little feature whenever a new version is being made but I think it is hard coded and will have to wait for a new sim.
  8. You can thank Chizh and the fine people at Eagle Dynamics! :)
  9. Hi, I can't answer all the other questions but the IR seeker logic has been worked on. No more long range R-27T/TE shots anymore because they will now only lock onto a heat source so the range has been drastically reduced according to aspect. Loft tragectory is automatic and varies with shooter altitude and target range.
  10. Is it possible to get an answer on this?...Apologies if it has allready been answered, I didn't see it. This is unchanged from v1.02. To start in a hanger, use an AI plane and then jump into it's cockpit at mission start with "ALT-J". You can still park in the large open hangers.
  11. See above... I just edited my post. :)
  12. Re: Details of v1.1 Flaming Cliffs Hi, You will see jamming strobes on the HUD... you have to slew the TD box over the line of strobes and then lock but there is no target information and you get false range and a shoot cue until burn through. If you launch prior to burn through and the missile is enroute when the radar locks on, the missile will continue to home. To test what would happen when ECM is shut off can only be done online and I have not done any MP testing in v1.1. The K-36 seat headrest is not as big in v1.1 and takes up less viewing area so you can see the rear canopy frame rail, more of the wing/missiles, and further behind then in v1.02.
  13. Hi, The LCOS pipper works properly in v1.1.
  14. Re: ETA on 1.1? ROFL!! I would just wait for official announcements.
  15. Hi, Just want to let everyone know right off the bat that flame wars or any other kind of mistreatment of fellow users will not be tolerated. Slander or bashing of Eagle Dynamics, it's employees, testers, 1C, or Ubi Soft will not be tolerated. Constructive criticism is allowed and welcomed. We are here for open rational discussions. :D Thanks! PS: For those that don't know, external testers are allowed to discuss v1.1 Flaming Cliffs.
  16. Thanks Andrey!!
  17. Hi, I would suggest that your friend upgrade to Win XP! I think it would better for him to upgrade his O/S and be ready for the present and the future then for Eagle Dynamics to spend resources on making v1.1 more Win 98 compatible. Win 98 is not supported by M$ anymore and software developers are looking at XP and beyond.
  18. Hi, I just got confirmation from the developer that the different sounds in the last 2 videos(landing and Vikhr Attack) are not in v1.1 and are just enhancements for marketing and advertising purposes. The sound engine in v1.1 is unchanged from v1.02 but you are free to add new sounds as zzzspace has done so magnificently!
  19. None that I know of but the wingmen are much more vocal since they do a faster and better job of using their weapons. :)
  20. I LOVE it too!!! But... as mentioned a million times  ... only the Su-25 and Su-25T get the AFM in v1.1 . No time for a new Su-27 3D model.
  21. v1.1 Information updated... see first post.
  22. If there are any US aircraft updates they will be announced when information is available.
  23.  WOW!! VERY nice website... beautifull artwork! WOW!! ОЧЕНЬ славное место... неимоверное искусствоо! Cheers
  24. There is a dedicated MP test group and they would be better off answering.
  25. Hi, No real changes to the F-15 except that the data on the HUD was moved up on the glass allowing a better view over the nose. No smokey engines or new vapour graphics. The AI was worked on a lot and is much improved... wingmen are now much more effective and will also have a better chance at survival for example.
