What I want to know is will ED devs give LO:2.0 server owners the choice of completley locking off Leavu and other 3rd party exploit software from exploiting LO via Lua. I for one don't and wont have someone else's opinion of how they think things should be forced up on me.

No one's attacking anyone Topol, people are trying to make others aware of the implications of these types of tools.

Yoda this isn't a mod its 3rd party software that runs independently of Lock on. leavu is forceware because it's unenforcable server side and runs on servers without the server owners permission and gives a clear advantage to F-15 drivers in a squad. The devs need to disable lua exports in MP.

Yoda I'd like to say with LRM you done your best to tackle a lot of LO's problems and any person can see you're trying your hardest to improve LO for the community, between now and my last post I've only just started to understand what exactly Leavu is and the mechanics and implications of Leavu, I have to say that you've opened up a can of worms with Leavu mate, I'm also an Eagle driver and I'd love to see the righteous Sperry datalink in LO's Eagle but you're on a slippery slope here, whilst I see the benefits Leavu will have for a squad in a MP enviroment I can also see the negative effects it'll have on lone wolves like me. Sometimes mate some things are just best left alone. It doesn't matter what I say because its far too late now. Yoda don't think I'm giving you a hard time because I'm not.

Yoda would Leavu2 give a squad the ability to utilise Leavu2 as a mini networked datalink/AWACS on a MP server? IE if one member of a squad was to stay back from the fight at high altitude with radar on would Leavu share this data with other squad members over a network?.

Yoda the MFD is real nice, quick question, would it be possible to export and display LEAVU MFD to the MFD on an X52 Pro?.

Grimes I like the 60 nm filter idea, anything that ED can do to shut her up would be a bonus because she's a liability.

Topol frustrating isn't the word, I wouldn't mind if I had a datalink but when I've got contacts within 20nm I do not want to hear 2 minutes worth of info about "pop ups" taking off over 150 nm away!. Please ED revise AWACS logic if you're able too.

In LO:2.0 will something be done about AWACS? when there are many contacts AWACS doesn't shut up and you have to wait untill she's stopped speaking before you can request to be vectored to the nearest bandit, sometimes I've waited over 2 minutes for her to stop speaking, typical women huh... anyway it can be very frustrating, It would be nice if AWACS would just say the essentials IE, Bearing and angels or an option for AWACS "to speak when asked" would suffice.
