  1. Seems all I need now are some more 8" touchscreens  fps is reporting steady at 32 with one dip down to 22. where i reported previously of there being a stutter at what is best described as the quarterlights, this is now gone or at least to me it is not noticeable it now appears very smooth. FWIW the cdu opens with the keyboard visible though, double clicking does indeed close the keyboard however i would look to place the cdu on its own 10" touchscreen in portrait view if possible? Positions are also remembered even after closing both dcsw and umfcd then opening back up, i have the left mfcd on my external monitor and it re-appears there after closing re-opening.....wonderful stuff. Just need to get a job now to pay for the new monitors i now need! Here are the system messages\timings: Error loadng key bindings. Please try to clear and re-bind. 11164:Export times in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0037148 / 00:00:00.0207614 / 00:00:00.0058595 / 00:00:00.0051826 MemCopy in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0021791 / 00:00:00.0073801 / 00:00:00.0033445 / 00:00:00.0032648 11164:Export times in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0036870 / 00:00:00.0181236 / 00:00:00.0061696 / 00:00:00.0057399 MemCopy in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0022148 / 00:00:00.0075435 / 00:00:00.0033629 / 00:00:00.0032470 11164:Export times in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0036846 / 00:00:00.0199110 / 00:00:00.0067517 / 00:00:00.0065069 MemCopy in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0018266 / 00:00:00.0057795 / 00:00:00.0028449 / 00:00:00.0028038 11164:Export times in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0034926 / 00:00:00.0208876 / 00:00:00.0070210 / 00:00:00.0066023 MemCopy in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0018457 / 00:00:00.0050192 / 00:00:00.0026436 / 00:00:00.0026293 11164:Export times in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0035655 / 00:00:00.0196610 / 00:00:00.0061241 / 00:00:00.0055927 MemCopy in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0018401 / 00:00:00.0043371 / 00:00:00.0025664 / 00:00:00.0025699 11164:Export times in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0035529 / 00:00:00.0167275 / 00:00:00.0057350 / 00:00:00.0051223 MemCopy in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0017906 / 00:00:00.0039575 / 00:00:00.0025445 / 00:00:00.0025157 11164:Export times in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0036691 / 00:00:00.0116641 / 00:00:00.0059932 / 00:00:00.0058052 MemCopy in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0018222 / 00:00:00.0049624 / 00:00:00.0026031 / 00:00:00.0026088 11164:Export times in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0034733 / 00:00:00.0119170 / 00:00:00.0071591 / 00:00:00.0075128 MemCopy in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0018729 / 00:00:00.0055863 / 00:00:00.0026582 / 00:00:00.0026387 11164:Export times in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0038325 / 00:00:00.0123265 / 00:00:00.0074978 / 00:00:00.0077168 MemCopy in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0018752 / 00:00:00.0059308 / 00:00:00.0027237 / 00:00:00.0027192 11164:Export times in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0037277 / 00:00:00.0122381 / 00:00:00.0077396 / 00:00:00.0080002 MemCopy in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0019267 / 00:00:00.0054703 / 00:00:00.0027315 / 00:00:00.0027209 11164:Export times in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0036299 / 00:00:00.0190009 / 00:00:00.0078720 / 00:00:00.0080520 MemCopy in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0018457 / 00:00:00.0060166 / 00:00:00.0027406 / 00:00:00.0027037 11164:Export times in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0041150 / 00:00:00.0133725 / 00:00:00.0078796 / 00:00:00.0080672 MemCopy in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0018732 / 00:00:00.0053368 / 00:00:00.0026335 / 00:00:00.0026018 11164:Export times in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0036609 / 00:00:00.0128151 / 00:00:00.0076584 / 00:00:00.0078980 MemCopy in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0018767 / 00:00:00.0062677 / 00:00:00.0027528 / 00:00:00.0027236 11164:Export times in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0036978 / 00:00:00.0137214 / 00:00:00.0077147 / 00:00:00.0079325 MemCopy in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0018530 / 00:00:00.0068412 / 00:00:00.0027866 / 00:00:00.0027066 11164:Export times in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0043609 / 00:00:00.0132554 / 00:00:00.0079827 / 00:00:00.0082352 MemCopy in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0018661 / 00:00:00.0159424 / 00:00:00.0027674 / 00:00:00.0027318 11164:Export times in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0041551 / 00:00:00.0138107 / 00:00:00.0080567 / 00:00:00.0082039 MemCopy in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0018679 / 00:00:00.0069463 / 00:00:00.0026938 / 00:00:00.0026542 11164:Export times in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0040895 / 00:00:00.0144737 / 00:00:00.0077832 / 00:00:00.0079764 MemCopy in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0018372 / 00:00:00.0067080 / 00:00:00.0025947 / 00:00:00.0025702 11164:Export times in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0040450 / 00:00:00.0216645 / 00:00:00.0076614 / 00:00:00.0078787 MemCopy in (min/max/mean/median) 00:00:00.0019057 / 00:00:00.0045757 / 00:00:00.0027160 / 00:00:00.0026911 Delighted with this update, you've outdone yourself again Mr Baker.
  2. Looking forward to it, as things stand the remaining stutter is only noticeable when looking down left or right. Looking straight ahead I can't perceive the stutter on the horizon.
  3. :music_whistling: Yellow socket you say..... I'd never have known that, when I built the machine I vaguely remember there being a reason why I put it in the black socket, can't recall if it was from the instruction book or whether there was a potential clash with other hardware which doesn't make sense as it is now plugged into the Yellow PCIe socket. 5. Okay, I have checked the drivers and they were old, now using the latest version 14.301. With the new drivers installed using the same tests as before, where I was getting 10fps I am now getting between 21 and 33 but it is still choppy, not smooth at all. Regards the beta expired message some have reported, I also received this message once so far, however, I think it may have something to do with me installing and running Fraps - I also note that when running Fraps on one occasion I was able to start uMFCD and Fraps reported frame rates of 55 downside was that I could not move the enlarged on screen MFCD's.
  6. Okay, my findings so far, slow, using A10C Training Mission Navigation I generally have 50 fps in windowed at 1680 x 1050. I find that my graphic options need to be set at High - tried Medium but had no control and windows were larger. So, at High settings and running your FPS at FULL I have 10 fps at 1\5 I have 15 fps Top marks for this, it's great being able to read the TAD on the separate monitor, is there a way to selectively turn the windows off? or can they only be minimised?
  7. All good here, appears sluggish though, I have yet to adjust any settings.
  8. Just set up the Lilliput and yes, I can drag a window onto it which, in turn, automatically fills the screen
  9. going back to this, I'm unsure as to whether a normal window can be put on the 8" monitor, I believe the MFCD output is exported via a lua script though I must stress I don't know as I have yet to set up or for that matter look into how to set up the monitor for this purpose. I remember years ago setting up a second vga monitor to display the Shkval in KA-50 though there were orientation issues and the monitor was just that, a monitor with no internal graphic card ala Lilliput 8" usb monitor. I'm hopeful your app is the plug and play solution that I'm looking for? And looking forward to finding out.
  10. Thanks for the explanation, hopefully I'll be beta testing soon whereupon I'll have more questions though your app appears to be what I am looking for however, not knowing the full strength of Coretex's 18E I can only hope a third touchscreen will work as the UFC and your app's direct typing will work flawlessly with the UFC scratchpad. Keep up the good work....
  11. regards direct typing, I assume the window has to be selected for direct typing to work? how would that work if your app was displayed on a separate monitor? how is your app given focus in this instance? Again, please excuse my ignorance on these matters.
  12. Ouch, wrong time of year for financial outlay, I'll keep an eye out for your updates - I'm keen to know if your app is going to work with the 18E so, have plenty of time it would seem
  13. I should perhaps put myself forward as a Beta tester to see if it does work with my Lilliput? Where do I sign up for it?
  14. Hi, excuse my ignorance however, is this a solution to export the MFCD displays to separate screens as in 8" Lilliputs? Or is it purely suited to enlarging the MFCD screens in game? I ask as I have one 8" Lilliput that I have yet to set up\install - I'm kinda waiting on Coretex releasing their F\A-18E, I'll then obtain another two, one for the touch screen UFC and the other for the right DDI....Hopefully! Looks really good all the same
  15. Hi, these look fantastic, any indication on when they will be available and cost please? I currently have a set of Simped F16c though, they have a serial connection, will yours be usb? how are they recognised by the OS?

  18. You might want to check out the following link for fully programmable POS keyboards. I picked one up from eBay a few years back for F4 don't see why it wouldn't work for DCS! http://www.prehkeytec.com/products.html

  23. I'll let you know how it performs once installed, I've ordered a new 120Gb drive - should arrive tomorrow so, I'll hopefully get DCSW installed tomorrow night. Thanks again for your help\advice....
  24. To answer my own query, regards the 290's noise levels, so far, I am very happy with the silence, granted I have only ran BF4 with no discernible change in noise level. The big test will come once I have DCS installed which will be once I acquire a second dedicated SSD to install it on. Appreciate if someone could advise me on the size of SSD to install DCSW A10C and BS2 on? I understand that getting the biggest capacity is usually the best way to go however, the price of SSD's at the biggest volumes makes these prohibitive to me :(
  25. Hi, Has anyone any information on the best way to create cockpit textures? I am hoping that someone can point me in the direction of a suitable tutorial, I have GIMP but can move to another program if needed. I can create the cockpit model however, I really need to be able to make decent textures as the model is at best, only half the story. TIA
