  1. I can see the mirrors from external view. But they are not visible from within the cockpit (where I need them). Always been like that since I got this module 1 year ago. I can't find any settings to do with it, either in the main settings or the controls. What am I doing wrong?
  2. I am sad. Today it seems that my NVCP graphics settings (AA etc) will not function in DCS. It was doing it a week ago, but now it is like a year ago when it would not do anything. If I turn off in-game AA, then set AA in NVCP, I get zero AA effect in the game (blocky as hell). I tried deleting options.lua, re-doing the settings and restarting DCS many times, but no difference. Any ideas?
  3. I agree with Drexx, the DCS MultiPlayer (dedicated server) experience needs some attention. Also IMO that poll should really have another option: "5) Regretfully left DCS to go play a different game with better MP system until someday maybe come back when it is improved" I love DCS in SP and even in a small non-dedicated server with a couple friends. I admit I also get excited about shiny new modules coming down the pipeline, but I feel that MP experience is the cement that will hold the DCS house together in the long run.
  4. Good idea Chris! I tried that about a year ago and found that I could not get my NVCP settings to work inside DCS for whatever reason. However, I just tried that again today and boom it works now. I really appreciate the help.
  5. Thanks for the reply. I didn't know I needed to restart after changing a setting. Most games would mention that in the dialogue, or else just force the user to do so. Cheers!
  6. Today (after updating to 2.5.2) I tried to increase my MSAA setting from 2x to 4x. After that I noticed that my camera views in both left and right HDDs were broken (almost solid white for Mav on left, and black except for the crosshairs for TV on right). No terrain or vehicle images could be seen at all. Changing back to 2xMSAA again "fixed" it, for now. I am not sure if this is a new issue or old, since I don't recall trying 4xMSAA in the last several months anyway. FWIW I tried different settings for cockpit display resolutions but without impact on this issue. Anybody else able to reproduce this?
  7. Also, regarding the fish-eye effect, I use the following zoom axis tuning profile to fix it. I like the Y-saturation set at 75, but you may want to reduce it further to get a truly "normal" view.
  8. That is odd. Not sure why it would only affect the yaw axis and not the others..... Try playing with the Smoothness setting in TrackIR. I have mine on 10 (0-50 range) to make it snappy, but this is my personal preference. Try cranking it up? Watch the reflectors in the camera view in TrackIR software while moving your head in that area. Do you see extra artifacts? Or do the green spots go red at all? Also, might want to check the axis tuning for the TrackIR axes in DCS controls settings. I have mine all on default, but you may have changed something there? That could explain the single-axis nature of the issue maybe. Good luck!
  9. I don't even know what the offline mode is supposed to do, since it already asks me if I want to log in or not in a separate dialogue. But FWIW: I have Steam version and the Offline button toggle does exist on my main screen. However, playing with it just now: If I do log in then click offline mode, the icon changes to offline (works?). If I don't log in then click offline mode, I get the following error: "Can't enter offline mode: error 502." <Shrugs>
  10. I'm new here and don't have the Gazelle, but I do fly the UH1H and Ka50 a bit. One thing that you may want to try is setting your collective input axis curve to have its lowest sensitivity at the location of typical hovering. This is not actually in the physical middle area typically, so you may need to use the slider checkbox in combination with a curve. The more physical movement it takes for a given collective output change in that area, the better (in my experience). ALSO: I had to implement an external 3rd-party averaging script onto my throttle/collective device, in order to cancel out the jitters/bouncing I was getting right out of the box. Check if yours is acting up maybe? Good luck!
  11. Hello to Everyone! I am new here on the forum, and also fairly new to DCS. I have had it installed for a couple years but only really got interested enough to invest some serious time learning it in the past couple of months. I am glad that I did, and really happy to see the recent updates and fixes. This thing is amazing.
