  2. This is useful in the simulation but in real life landing lights are never (or really occasionally) used in the NAVY
  3. I'm at work, so i can't check my file. I answer you as soon as I can
  4. You have changed "51" value by "102" for the two lines? nothing else?
  5. I was tired or the ICLS are now correct?? (without the HUD_common.lua modify) I have a new line on the file : local ILSLineLen = 202 I have restored my original HUD_common.lua file but the ICLS stay with the good size... WTF
  6. +1 I also noticed the change in flight characteristics
  7. Hey nice! thank you drPhibes!!
  8. Hello, The ICLS indication bars are too small DCS : Reality :
  9. you can't on the ground, you can add the radar altitude warning only in flight I have already talk to this problem on the Bugs section but no feedback.... I made a video to a friend for showing the problem https://youtu.be/8BLK15C0-EM
  10. For me too, the problem is still not resolved...
  11. Hummm yes its a bug... I haven't seen because i use the HSI only on the MCPD. So 2 bugs here : Value hidden on the left HSI and negative indication miss when we are on the right of course...
  12. Yes nothing more : Freq OSB TCN Course selected But i don't know if it's a bug but in the Superhornet this value is negative to the RIGHT and positive to the LEFT of course, it's not the case here, the value is always positive in the right or the left of course...
  13. For me no problem after the update i have the Abeam distance on my HSI (just above the CSEL indication) like in the SuperHornet. You right, this is the Cross Track Error Indicator / Perpendicular offset, I can't upload a screenshot because i'm at my work but if nobody make it i'll uploading this when i'll gonna home. it's strange because when the Hornet was released i asked Wags on Youtube if this indication would be implemented in the future because I was used to having it in the SuperHornet and he replied that it did not exist on this version of the plane lol Edit : Find my question on the DCS: F/A-18C Hornet - Episode 9: CASE I Carrier Landing video: "Hey, F/A 18C does not have the Cross-Track Distance indication? we can not see our Abeam distance on the HSI TCN in the FA 18C? In the FA 18E we can look at our distance to the left or right just above the CSEL indication (with the FA18 E the correct range it is between 1.10 and 1.30) before 1.10 you are "Too close abeam" and after 1.30 you are "Too wide abeam" How do we can know these distance on the F/A18C https://i62.servimg.com/u/f62/16/15/38/75/fa_18e10.png" Matt Wagner Negative, not in OFP 13C
  14. Please, moderator must stick this thread and go back to ED for consideration!! Don't miss out on such important informations! It's with such feedback from real Hornet pilots that we will have the most realistic F/A-18-C simulation possible!
  15. Hello, I think the developers know this and maybe it's temporary because the hornet is in early access, but the MAP button on the HSI has not been placed in the right place. It should be on the OSB 6
  16. Maybe it's not a bug but just still not implemented in the simulator, but the refueling light probe doesn't work. (Sorry if isn't the good thread)

  18. Hey nice one, well done!! Some tips if you want (modestly) After the 180° and during the downwind you have to be at 600'. Pull the gears and flaps at 250' and start your 90° earlier. The 90° starts when the tip of your wing arrives at the level of the LSO platform approximately, or when you begin to see the back of the carrier, because you were "long in the groove" I think you need to adjust your trim correctly while your downwind. Sorry for my bad English, i'm not ;)
