Interestingly, I the black outs in the menu too. I think it is session based. Some sessions are fine. null

Hi guys I've been flying VR in DCS since 2016. I took a break from DCS for a few months and just got back in. I swore I wasn't going to tinker with settings, but I did... again. I used to run my G2 Reverb with a stable framerate 40-60. Now apparently I have managed to ruin this state of bliss (again). I still have high enough framerates, still 40-60, but now I have intermittent 'black-outs'. I presume the sim is loading something.. I started on the Gamblers campaign and in the first mission as we approached Syria things were pretty bad, lots of black-outs. What do you think think is going on? Which setting would be responsible for this? My system i12900K, GTX 3080Ti, 32 GB RAM.

Sound feedback
Count Sessine replied to Count Sessine's topic in DCS: UH-1H Peacekeeper Lebanon Campaign
Ok thanks for the clarification. I don't think it is a good solution but always good to know that it works as intended. FYI in the Routine work mission the voice-over is totally drowned out by the engine. -
Hi Cyking Just bought the campaign, 3 missions in. Some feedback: I'm a little annoyed with the sound as the voice-overs only play in one ear (using headset). Also, to be frank, the quality of the recordings is very uneven.

wip How make do I make the wingman do anything in SP
Count Sessine replied to Count Sessine's topic in DCS: AH-64D
Thank you ! That was the problem. I just needed to move the frequency selector. Read the manuel, eh... -
Hi guys My wingman is totally unresponsive at all times. He just follows me around. I have used the PTT buttons and the old Comms button but nothing works. Is this a bug or is there something about the Apache comms I don't understand? Some SP missions are quite hard with only one loadout - I need more Hellfires

I solved the problem, somehow. It had something to do with a Win 10 user profile that had become hidden and thus unavailable somehow....

Ok so I figured out that it is a positional problem. If I reset the position from Steam VR, the gray area disappears and DCs is visible once again. But the position is invariably 2 meters too high above the cockpit. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to adjust it. I've played DCS VR since 2016 and never had this problem. When I exit DCS, the floor in the Steam landscape is a eye height. Any tips would be very appreciated.

I'm getting this too, suddenly. What gives? Clearing environment data did not fix it. The headset works fine with other apps.

Hi Reflected - I just thought I should say how impressed I was with your work. The best campaign I've played in DCS in a loong time. The postcards, music etc, very creative stuff. The 1969 vibe was strong and good. I'd like to also give a thumbs up to @Wolfpack - you're a good voice actor as were all the others PS. I played the whole thing in VR.

OpenXR Guide - Deprecated - This time for real (▀̿Ĺ̯▀̿ ̿)
Count Sessine replied to nikoel's topic in Virtual Reality
Thanks for the work you guys have been doing on this. It has really made a difference to my VR performance across the board. Except for the Apache: all other modules perform 50+ FPS on my machine, but the Apache, with the same settings, can barely get over 15 FPS. Is this just teething problems for the new module or what do you guys think? Edit: I turned down the render scale and that did the trick. -
I got this too. All other aircraft run really well, but the apache suddenly dips into 12-15 fps.
