My specs are: GTX 1080ti DDR4 32GB CPU 4.7Ghz Samsung M.2 970 PRO SSD I'm overclocking my ASUS motherboard using EZ Overclock in the ASUS UEFI to 30% I tried more than that but Windows would give me the blue-screen. Last night I attempted OC the GPU using msi afterburner and the framerate increase wasn't much, i think it was between 3-4fFPS gain.

Well to be honest I almost pulled the plug on the Reverb. I was itching to get it so badly, I just wished it wasn’t a WMR headset.

Does anyone have tips on how to improve instruments and text legibility using VR? I'm using Rift CV1 and text looks fuzzy and jagged, instruments panels text looks like it's missing pixels. I don't want to buy a new headset for now. I'm waiting to see what's next since HP Reverb almost got it right so I'm thinking their next headset would probably be better. Any promises made by ED to work on VR enhancements/improvements? Thank you.

The mouse courser inside the cockpit moves with both the mouse and the VR headset. What did you do? disable the mouse in the game setting to only use the headset as your mouse courser or am missing something else!

[OFF TOPIC] How do you like the valve index with DCS? I saw a video on YouTube where the user shows that text on black background still fuzzy and blurry on the valve index but much better than the Rift. Anyway you can take a screenshot in VR showing the text on the cockpit switches? They look pretty bad on my Rift and I'm considering the Index but with hesitation.

You mean I can select a command using radio menu as shown in the attached file? How would I select F5 on the radio menu?

the menu you get on the top right corner to communicate with: ground crew, ATC, Wingman, etc... F1 . . . . F12 I don't want to look for the F keys on the keyboard when I have the VR headset on. I was hopping to bind them or scroll through them with HOTAS.

How, I tried yesterday with LAlt+C but mouse has no affect on radio menu!

Does anyone know if I can bind radio communication commands to HOTAS (F1-F12)? I use VR and trying to find the correct F key while having the headset on is not practical/possible without taking the headset off. I searched but it does look like it was implemented in the control setting so any mods out there can do this? I hope DCS would implement this in future releases. Thanks.

I admire the work and details DCS put out. However, When I see Early Access @ full price, it doesn't sound right because you're not buying the full game yet. I'm just used to the price of EA games on Steam, they usually start cheap then when the game if fully released the price would go up. DCS is doing it the opposite way and they are entitled to it, their game, their product and I respect that. I go read the manual now for the F-15 :book:

So no planes are available to take the Hornet? wouldn't that cause game imbalance?

I find that $80 for early access game is excessive? I would love to get it but $80 for early access, not finish, buggy does not justify the $80 price tag. Did the game ever go on sale? Which other DCS planes can compete with the DCS: F/A-18C Hornet? I mean a plane that would give the Hornet a really hard time in the air?

I looked up YouTube and went through the DCS CA manual, there is nothing there about how to operate the SAM. What I do is, I lock the target with [enter] then I have to chase the target with my tiny round reticle, but even then, the missile would eventually bleed and fall short. Target is about 7nm in distance. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong!! Thanks. :joystick:

Thank you guys. Now it’s clear. I’m a big fan of DCS. I owned KA50 1 and the flaming cliffs years ago. Then I took a break due to family/work. Now I have time to play once I put the kids and wife to bed :megalol: I’m even thinking now of getting the warthog joystick.

I did. When I select the first mission, all I get is a map where I can issue Set Path, Set Target, etc but I can't jump into action, like be inside the tank.

By "There are no instant action" did you mean that in the built-in missions I can't jump inside a tank and start playing?
