The trainer asks that I climb to 325 meters and then maintain altitude but once I get to 300 my altitude jumps to 600 meters. Why is that? Where to check that I’m flying at 325 meters to satisfy the trainer? I looked at the Barometric Altimeter and it wouldn’t go below 500 meters!!!

Hi all; How can I see other KA50 pilots current location in the ABRIS. Yesterday, I played with someone online, I dispensed all my flares so he can find me to no avail. Which part of the manual I should be reading to accomplish the above? Thank you.

I had to reinstall my Windows 10 and reassign my inputs from scratch. It was boring task to do. Is backing up the diff.lua files still the preferred and the easiest method to unpainfully reassign my inputs? Thank you.

[sOLVED] F18 RADAR is driving me insane!! Best community ever with no exaggeration. I never posted anything here without getting an overwhelming help and support from you guys. I have never seen such community anywhere else. After playing with bars, B-Sweep and distance, paying close attention to numbers on top/bottom of TDC and using the Active Pause, I finally understood how the RADAR works and I was able to find targets on RADAR :joystick: I can't thank you enough guys :thumbup:

I left it on default for AIM120C which I think Interleaved When you set the SU33 on the map what command did you give it for the radar?

I didn't say it was difficult. I didn't think of saving the track after the mission yesterday. I will load the mission tonight and save the track. :thumbup:

I will try the TWS then and narrow my scan area to where I can see su-33 on the RWR.

I set the speed for the su-33 at 350, distance he wasn't far, even when I visually saw him at a distance when I zoomed in my RADAR would still not pick him up. What do you mean by Aspect?

F18 radar is frustrating me. I made a test mission and assigned su33 at 15,000 feet with radar ready for search. I fly at the same altitude and set radar for 80miles, 4 bars and 80 azimuth angle. Top of TDC shows 24,000 feet at 40 miles. RWR shows the su but radar doesn't. What's going on? I was trying different bars 2/4/6 and I changed distance as well 40/60/80/160 and still nothing.

How about the background color of the RADAR page?

Hi all; I would like to experiment with changing the color of the RADAR page. I'm having hard time seeing the fine details in VR. I want to see if I change the background/foreground color would help me identify those fine details better. How do I do it? do I change the lua files or use a MOD? Thank you.
