I use an Oculus cv1 in this simulator and the cockpit feel confortable. I have never been around an A10 in my life, even worst I'm not a real pilot. What is the point in this thread? Skeptic, if you design a cockpit with all the switches, mfd and other amenities and this home made cockpit exist a difference of 4% in the location of the APU switch from the VR APU switch, you deserve a congratulations more than a 4% related headache. Could you post photos of your cockpit?

Some time when I enter the +5 minutes time for the new waypoint and now is let say...23:56:10 + 5 = 00:01:10 and entered this last value in the CDU, in hud appears R0 under the speed and not the target speed. What I’m doing wrong?. :doh:

I got those nauseas feeling the first flights but now are fewer, it’s seems related to low frame count but my opinion as an MD is this is: is a natural reaction, all your world is turning upside down but the info coming from the inner ear to the brain is “nothing is moving” so...our brain answer is... “i got some nauseas for you”. I was flying during the night and I realize now that I can see the back (looks like black piece of fabric) the oculus front, I adjusted the gamma almost to 1.2 or 1.3 but I still can see this, really annoying during night flights. Hi to everyone. 1) I’m having problem with my DCS open beta detecting my rig from few days a go, all work perfectly but now don’t. I installed a 7 port USB 3.0 pcie to my pc and suddenly the DCS is not detecting the joystick any more when they are connected to this board, but no problem with DCS when I use the MB USB ports. Xplane 11 works perfectly with the devices connected to the pcie USB. 2) I want to try uninstalling everything and make a fresh install. This will be the first time but I’m confused with and activate switch, a DRM button and a recycle bin. This board was installed after the installation of both sims, may be just may be the games save a list of the internal parts of the pc and this new board is not recognized,its a long distance shot but... The three devices are working perfectly, they are detected by they own config app and all of them works fine. Latest DCS open beta and X-Plane 11 can’t detect any more the devices when they are connected to the 7 port USB 3.0 pci-e board , but if they are connected to the mother board USB ports all works fine again in both sims. Yes, I can see them. I uninstalled the pic-e board from the device manager and restart de pc, installed the latest but I can't use it yet (In the office working right now). I will use it in a few hours.

Hi to everyone. I had my joystick, throttle and rudder conected to the motherboard USB ports all was working fine on DCS, I installed a 7 port USB 3.0 pci-e board and connected then to this device. I can run the virpil config utility and this app detect the t50, warthog throttle and chpro rudders pedals perfectly but is not detected in DCS any more. Any suggestions? Introducing the VPC MongoosT-50 Hi to everyone. I was reading this thread and I have to say this: I got from Virpil my T50 with the base and I don’t need to change the cams, the joystick works perfectly with the factory installed cams, they are great simulating the force feedback. This is a matter of personal preference (helicopter sim), I know that but why are you worring about the cams or screw without trying the T-50? The same happened to me with a Dewalt circular saw, all the people complain about why this saw came with one and not two clamp. I bought this circular saw with an extra clamps. I never need the feel to use the two clamps, I use only one, so I made an enema for me with the extra clamp. It’s true all about the Phillips screw, it would be better to use Allen or torx screws if the idea was “if the user need to change the parts let’s made this process “fool proof”. So many factor beside the “not clever idea to use Phillips screws” can ruin this process like a “I don’t know what I’m doing DIY guy”, wrong size screw driver, etc. Give it a try first then you can worry.
