  1. I've got no Mistral tones, no RWR sounds and no fuel pump sounds anymore. Not sure what has gone wrong with my module but my Gazelle is quickly becoming a mute aircraft.
  2. The Fragger if you are willing could you send me a PM. I have a good friend who works in the aviation simulation industry. He works for an American company of around 250 employees that contracts with commercial and government entities to produce detailed and highly extensive maintenance simulations for aircraft. He works on the coding end and has experience in several coding languages including C+, C Sharp and his personal favorite LUA. I don't know what state the 105 is in code wise or even if he would be able to assist with the project but I would love to be the middle man and put you two in communication.
  3. Here you go. server-20190630-102555.trk
  4. Don't want to post this in bugs yet because I haven't flown this helicopter in a LONG time. I'm not sure if memory is just failing me but I no longer hear the fuel pump sounds, gyro spin up sounds or RWR sounds. I know I remember fuel pump sounds back in 1.5.8 but didn't the RWR also make noise? I know the Mistral tones seem to be broken but was wondering if these other sounds are also known to be broken?
  5. So Fragger I'm curious. You obviously have a dedication this project that is quite impressive. This helicopter looks like it has been in development in some form.or fashion since at least 2014. She's not exactly my cup of tea but Id certainly purchase it just to show support to anyone giving the rotor head community some love. Y question is do you have the ability with enough time to bring this to DCS alone or will you eventually have to find some help with code or art?
  6. This is awesome news, thanks for the update Wags. Out of curiosity, are there any changes in the lighting engine coming with 2.5.5? With regard to stuff like the nav and collision light bleed through in cockpits? Thanks for all the hard work. PS. Just picked up a Rift S today based on Wag's feedback.
  7. Isn't it exciting? One step closer to the Mi-24 and finally the AH-1x
  8. The door gunners are still broken despite the patch notes. The behaviors listed above have not changed. They aim, they rotate the barrels but refuse to fire. When I manually select a door gunner station I get the same result, barrel spins but no firing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ow8czJj1eoQ&feature=youtu.be

  10. I've got a update from unnamed sources regarding the completion status of the Mi24. To date, they have finished the tail rotor.
  11. With the impending launch of the F14 and the successful(?) implementation of multi crew in the Yak is it possible that we could see multi crew for the Huey and Mi8 revisited? Would be awesome to have door and co-pilot gunners. Just wondering if the netcode to make the helos multi crew is drastically different than that required to make the F14 work.
  12. Flying in MP on TTI and my door gunners will not fire at anything. If I get into the door gunner slot I get the same barrel rotation for a second but no rounds. Even the co-pilot gunner seems to be engaging less than usual.
  13. I would strongly suggest all us ROTOR heads make sure and frequent the Razbam sub forum. They have recently asked if the community would be interested in a large helicopter like the CH53. While I think ED will eventually get us a decent Mi-24 module I do think it's a lower priority to them where as Razbam seems to work very quickly on modules and might just give us something new if they think there is enough interest.
  14. I'd pay whatever you guys charged to get my hands on a nice helicopter.
  15. The excitement of a new module combined with a lot of Discord friends that wanted to multi crew. Sounded like fun at first but I'm enjoying the new Harms and Mavs on the F18 and really excited about the Warthog's tpod being implemented with the module. I might give the F16 a try when it finally released but the F14 will just be a hanger queen for me. To add to the sour taste I sent Heatblur an email politely asking for a refund. If they refuse it won't be the end of the world but it's been almost a week and it appears they are just ignoring the request and not addressing it.
  16. I'm sure the guys that are salivating over the upcoming release are going to be extremely happy with their purchase and the challenges the aircraft brings. For me, I've shelved my A10c and Harrier for the F18 based on where the module stands today. Once it has a tpod I know I'll never even look back at the Harrier & A10. With that I'm sure I'll probably not get more than a week or two out of the F14 after the newness wears off. Honestly I'm a helo guy and really looking forward to new rotor-craft modules. The F18 just helps pass the time.
  17. Eh watching the videos and talking with friends I thought it would be a neat multi crew platform to fly a few of my guys around in, but with new F18 features coming online month after month I really don't think I'll fly the F14 for more than a week. I'm not a big fan of the old analogue cockpits and prefer the more modern complex systems that provide more detailed information as needed via the MFDs. The more I watch videos on the F14 the less interested in the platform I am.
  18. I'm sure it's going to be an aircraft that's loved by many but I hope Heatblur will let me refund my preorder. I got caught up in the hype train and just don't think this module is going to be a good fit for me.
  19. It would be nice to get a bone. Just something like it's on the back burner and we might get it to you in early 2020 but no guarantees, just something at this point would be nice.
  20. It's parking in the Mi24's spot.
  21. Lots of passionate guys/gals just waiting to throw good money at you Heatblur for that next helicopter.
  22. Thanks for the information.
  23. Two aircraft are flying at each other with radars active. The target air crafts RWR system detects the aggressors radar sweeping and gives an indicator to the pilot. The agreessor locks the target aircraft and the target's rwr system detects that the agreessor is no longer sweeping but locked constantly and gives the appropriate warning. Now the agreessor fires a radar guided missile. The rwr somehow detects this and gives the launch warning. My question is what changed on the agressors radar scan from a lock to a launch and how does the rwr system know a launch occurred? Wouldn't the radar behavior of the agreessor be the same after a launch? Stay locked on target? Curious if someone in the know can explain this.
  24. With all the high quality work coming out of HeatBlur and the pretty impressive time tables the company is able to put out for projects is there any possibility they would ever work on a helicopter? I'm sure that fixed wing aircraft always make more ROI but I feel like the helicopter community is so ready for a new module and if they nailed something like the BlackHawk it would appeal to both fixed and rotor wing guys alike and be a huge success. I know I'd be willing to pay between $100-$200 for a high quality module like the Cobra or the Black Hawk and I think some of the other helo guys would as well.
