Sorry, but I'm one of the ones that would prefer to be able to "disable" this jester. Please work something out even if it's just to turn off his intercom/mute. I do not find it helpful. Edit- it's why I came here looking for a solution.

In order to do the update I removed files so that the update could go ahead, some of those I have to put back, but most of the remaining drive space is available again. Pointing to another drive/folder for the temp files to run the update would probably be the best solution without having to spend even more money buying bigger primary drives.

This last major update 2.9.8.1107 is basically 200GB on my end and I have not purchased any new aircraft, terrain, campaigns, etc. What is it the game is updating that it needs to add an additional 200 gig to the system when no new modules have been installed ? I've already removed aircraft and terrain just to make room for the update. This will fill the drive. No future updates are possible without now removing something else. Is there a way to provide an update(s) to the game without all the extra stuff, only updates to critical game files. No new maps, campaigns, liveries or whatever seems to be filling this up ?

Once again, now resolved and no longer seeing the authorization error.

and now this is showing back up like in the beginning. No patches / updates installed since previous post.

The latest update from 07/22/24 has resolved my issue with the FC3 aircraft and their authorizations.

Please fix these changes caused by the patch. In cockpit noise level, gun sounds, etc as noted above.

What a terrible "solution"

+1 ? Just another user whose game no longer works like it did before the patch, same as the others. No FC3 aircraft and game keeps wanting me to download and install it, which does no good.

Just wanted to say thanks for setting all of this up. The Viggen is a fun plane, but definitely need more/better training with it too.

Did not have the problem before 2.9. Since I keep seeing folks saying this was a known issue at release, then I'll simply assume a lot of these "issues" were known and they released it anyway. So I'm out of this thread.

Since the 2.9 update now external graphics have a shaking / shuddering effect going on. RTX 4070 with ver 537.13 first, then updated to latest 545.84 GRD. Getting the same result.
