From 3 updates to the last one I'm experimenting a wierd issue. Joystick controls are inhibited when I try any single player mission with any A/C models I have ( Mustang, Spitfire, 109 & F/A-18 ). When I check the in-game settings seems everything is all right and, in fact, everything is all right because in multiplayer everything work propperly. Any idea how to fix it without re-installing?

In the last 2 open beta releases ( 2.5.4.26825 is this last one), only in single player missions, instant action and/or campaigns anything related with the new updates is interfering all the flying key & stick settings. Everything seems to be ok in setting page, but ingame all is a mess. However I have no issues in multiplayer. It has been happening to me from last week release instalation and still remains in this last release.

This last open beta release has a lot of buggs. I have no idea what is interfering my controls, but this new version is 100% unplayable. In config menu everything is ok but ingame the joystick inputs are a mess, seems like everything is unconfigured. Another bugg is in F/A-18 cockpit when you set the fuel probe for an air refueling: the right MFD and a part of the cockpit just start blinking. and the last one: What is that arcade radar layout for WW2? Personally I think this is not the best solution for WW2 spotting old issues: now I don't know if I'm playing a WW2 simulator or "star wars rogue squadron"

I know how to do it. It's easy if you know how to use DXTbmp, GIMP or Photoshop. Same procedure as skin mod. But 2 issues: 1- every update you'll have to reinstall it, so you need to backup it. 2- I noticed that in multiplayer, at least in BURNING SKIES server doesn't allow you to spawn with any mod. It's a kind of anti-buggers system. Fare enough, but as you said this new "all in green" windshield reduces, even more, your spotting capability. So crossing fingers we need to wait for an official fix for playing MP.

Last month I downloaded from DCS web the lighter windshield & redesigned gunsight reticle for the Spitfire, but I noticed after every new update the gunsight & the windshield are the older version
