Don't worry about that... I'm an small customer too, but don't misunderstand small with inefficiency about long term already reported issues. If it were as small impact as you said (this is only your oppinion) I wouldn't have bothered to report it, like the rest of the users/customers that had reported before me. And basically what you've said here is that We can discharge all the loading in the opponent's A/C, "visually" leave it as a "pasta strainer", but if no one of our bullets switch the right damage triggering box, for example the "set fuel tank in flames" one, it can stay flying with minimal-zero FM penalty.... I think you need to develop your answer cause this is a huge/core concept in a too small sentence.... Oooops.... sorry... my foult.... I don't want to be who have paralyced the issue fixing process, so here you are the track.... upppps I can't attach it to the post cause it exceed the max 5 MB's. But, do you really think you need SEVERAL tracks +1 for starting fixing long term known issues?... Anyway... whatever you need if it helps you in the process. Even that inconvenience let me know how can I send it to you.

A classic drama.... But We'll always have Paris... won't We?

Here is the probe that bears out that FM and DM (at least the visual DM part, also the physics- it's my guess-) are weirdly linked, otherwise you can't logically explain why an A8 heavily damaged, with one wheel out has an almost zero aerodynamic penalty, be faster than a fresh Mustang with 35% fuel load, also do a tight 360 like a rock ( rock is not equivalent as brick, it means with no apparent inestavility in its hard turn). Should be remarkable if in the Me 109 K-4 could be also checked out by the team cause it has a similar issue, also with one wheel out due combat damage. Note: if you got any visual issue to differenciate the Anton from the deck background is due the P-51 glass visual layer, also reported as a "bug" several time ago. it's not due YT video quality.

It's X-mas time, so We shouldn't start an argument....so this is going to be my first and last one post here... but after all this past times and after all those outstanding reported issues.... and you need an "exact" list from a customer? Have you sent the last one list to the trash can? We don't even know the official issues you've been supposed to work on them point by point.... Just an example: I've reported 3 issues from September till last wednesday... no one of them has been adressed in this last update, neither "the simpliest to fix" one. I could be empathic, but don't tigh too much some kind of situations. The only I could say is THANKS to a third party who had done a huge revamp in his campaigns bypassing the map "known issues", but by far away no one can mistake that bypass with "resolving some WW2 issues", they're still there. If you need a list.... ask to the WW2 Team dev. Chief, or whatever you call it, if you want to know "exactly".... and it would be a great gesture from you to us (DCS WW2 Customers) if you make that list public... just to be fare and clear for next times possible complains/reports. Merry X-mas to Everybody

They've said in last news they're working in WW2 issues for next 2.9 update, but didn't say in which ones they're putting the efforts. Said that.... and for sure you're working in a solution... may I suggest to put all AI's on air just starting the missions over High Halden AF, as an interim solution till they finally fix this AF ground issues? So basically all AI's waiting for your take off and the rejoin holding over AF as the "trigger" to start the mission route. In mission 10 is quite desolating watching this weirdo situation in the take off and you discover you're the only section survivor.

Water Injection unlockable in P-47(early 30 series)
OLD CROW replied to OLD CROW's topic in Bugs and Problems
I understand the point, also Thanks for the tip-cheat, but IRL pilots didn't have to deal with zoom in-out buttons or axis same time you press-depress joy buttons cause no one of my joysticks or my throttle have switches (VKB Gladiator- T16000 Throt) so it's "quite" anoying the fact you got to leave depressing the water injection to zoom in.... it's simply nuts it's only implemented that way in 30 early while in 30 & 40 works pretty well binding one joy button to activate the water while you use another key binding in the opposite hand joy to lock it.... but anyway... we should think it's done this way due their obsession for the "details"....even oddities like this. -
Don't know the logics of this cause in 30 & 40 series you can lock the water injection pump button. Any explanation about if it was this way IRL models or it's just a bug?

[4K TEXTURE OVERHAUL, WIP] Magic's Modified Mustang Makeup
OLD CROW replied to Magic Zach's topic in DCS: P-51D Mustang
Hi M_Zach, I would like to know if this texture revamp is compatible with or keep this in mind. I commented this issue in another post 2 months ago. Another guy gave me a similar solution for all warbirds mod glass textures and how to install them in the docs/... folders, etc,..... it seemed to work, but only for some servers, so it's not a universal solution if it isn't implemented by ED. I'm still waiting an ED official implementation in the original default texture zip file, it would be easier and an universal solution for this problem for everybody cause the visibility in the P-51 is a.... with this 2 year old last glass foggy, frosty default layer that is too far from giving us an inmersive sensation of been inside a mustang cockpit. By the way.... Great Job!!! . Old Mustang deserves a bit of justice, not only in the visual aspect, but it would be the subject for another sub topic place. -

Great tech explanation Sir. What really is still blowing my mind is the direct link between that anomally in the fuel injection system and the RPM's fluctuation in an constant speed propeller controlled by an electrical auto system. In my vid you can see an small fluctuation, about 1 or 2 P.S.I's in the manifold needle while in the RPM's tachometer you can visually observ the greater fluctuations, but anyway... all these tech explanations and the reminder of locking up the primer handle after pumpings have made me enough happy. Thanks to everybody.
-
ok then.... appreciate. Do you have any explanation for that logics? I mean why a fuel primer handle position generates RPM's fluctuation? It really blows my mind and it would be awesome to understand the technical reason. Thanks anyway... with explanation or not.

This is in a P-47-40 and I've experienced this "desyncronized" Propeller effect several times. Most times I did the standard start up procedure also did the prop & magnetos last check before entering runway, but in this particular case I closed the cowling flaps and switched on the oil diluter on ground, just to accelerate the warming up. I only took off once all needles were on blue, I switched off the oil diluter before entering the runway but I kept the cowling flaps totally closed all time. Also I'd tried to disconnect and reset the breaker of the auto prop pitch inflight, test the switch in manual, also tried to test the prop lever manually, but same issue in all flight phases. The A/C got an strong tendency for drifting right in the desync- sync, also I noticed the P-47 more floaty than I normally feel it in speeds below 200 KIAS. In the video you could notice the slide indicator and the magnetic compass moving every time RPMs decrease- Increase.

bad a/c spotting with high resolution (3840 x 1600)
OLD CROW replied to havebug's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
Try to change the values of MSAA, SSAA,SSLR, SSAO, Anisotropic filter.... to those I attached here or experiment with other values that feets your system. I Guess your PC is more powerful than my almost 6 year old one, but for me this settings work fine. You should think that as more resolution smaller the pixel size is, so you can watch an spectacular landscape but not the bad dude you're looking for cause its LOD pixels are too small. Hope it would help you. -

fixed Dysfunction of the Wing Flaps Handle of the TF-51D
OLD CROW replied to Glow's topic in Bugs and Problems
Could it be possible to allow Keybinds for joysticks buttons? I know it can be set in Joy axis as Canopy crank, but it is weird Open/Close canopy can be set in keyboard binds but not allowed in joy buttons
