If love to buy I'm not 100% sure how I did it. I changed the permissions and the owner of the user file to admin and now it works.

Don't want to say too much but it might be solved. I tried reinstalling after formatting the Ssd but random files said they were corrupt. I've now installed it on a brand new Ssd and I've not had a problem since. Looks like my Ssd may have been bad.

Got it working. I think it had something to do with permissions for my Saved Games folder.

What did you change? I may have the same problem as you had but I can't figure it out. I've changed my saved games path in the init file to 'Saved Games/DCS.openbeta/etc/etc' but I never get a debrief (just a script error) and can't progress.

I've done all of those things and it's the same :(

I can't get this to work. I've changed the .bat files to point to my install and they appear to generate new missions. The problem comes when I end the first mission. I can't progress and I get this message.

Windows should be up to date. It automatically updates and yes I'm aware it it not being supported anymore. I'll upgrade to Windows 10 when I get round to it. I've removed my saved games folder and let dcs rebuild it but it's still the same.

I've tried a complete fresh install which seemed to work. I tried a few Viggen and Gazelle missions which worked without a problem. F14, FA18 and AV8B always crash though. dcs.log-20200103-192448.zip

I'm going to try a complete fresh install. Only difference i can see is my Saved games folder was called 'DCS' and now it is named 'DCS.openbeta.' Not sure if this has changed recently or even if if would cause an issue. I'll see how I get on and report back if I'm still having problems.

Windows is up to date and I'm not using reshade.

Does it with the F14 too. Just said 'DCS has stopped working' and crashed to desktop. No crashlog created this time.

I've been playing the viggen campaign and keep crashing at the same point. Not sure if any other modules are affected but I'll give them a try. It's an unmodified version that I've repaired. A tracked rapier would be good.

Is it possible ED could add this to the base sim. The greyhound is far better than a lot of the standard models and with the upcoming carrier module it'll fit right in.

Got it back! Repair didn't work. I had to delete the entire Bazar folder then repair and it's back working. Thanks.

NVG's are just a black screen now following todays update. It's the same for a ll modules.

There you go. While we're at it the gunners arms sticks through the seat too.

You can see the world through a gap at the top of the cargo door from the pilot's seat. I'm sure it's not meant to be like this. Any chance of some better fitting doors please?

Other than being able to access more ram is Windows 10 any better for dcs?
