  1. Some people probably shouldn’t mess with early access modules... Apparently, not everyone realizes that early access is tied to development, and during development, errors and bugs may happen. Early access = may contain bugs and errors during development Full release = optimized, basically complete, almost free of issues Seriously, does this have any real impact on your life, Nedum? If yes, maybe it's time to reflect a bit... Someone doesn't like the state of the DCS F-16? Then just fly BMS in the meantime or swap to another module instead!
  3. Everyone should just cool down a bit and take a step back. I’m grateful to ED for the love and work they put into DCS and, by extension, into our hobby. With increasing popularity, tensions naturally rise more frequently, and some consumers can lose touch with reality. It’s no different with other games (excuse the term). It would be so much easier if customers actually read the terms of use instead of immediately clicking 'BUY' everywhere. As for ED and RAZBAM, that's their issue, not ours. But it's pretty clear that the one who’s going to lose out is RAZBAM, not ED. If your Razbam modules stop working, just fly something else. Just because my Reverb G2 stopped working after the 24H2 update yesterday, I’m not complaining to HP or Microsoft either... I’m grateful to ED for their work and the passion they've put into their product for decades, and no matter how things turn out with Razbam, I will remain a happy DCS pilot and mission editor for decades to come.
  4. Thank you for your time and effort. I have no idea what could be causing the BEEP. I will reinstall the A10 as well as the campaign tomorrow and test it again. I’ll give you feedback afterward. Thanks again. EDIT: I reinstalled both the campaign and the A-10. The error still persisted. Then I ran a DCS Repair in full mode, which also deleted all installed mods. Now something has changed: the AN/ARC 186 VHF FM Radio is now preset to 30.000 MHz and no longer BEEPS. The BEEP now only starts at 87.000 MHz and remains for all frequencies above that. Previously, the same radio was ALWAYS preset to 130.000 MHz (like the old A10C´s primary AN/ARC 186), and the BEEP started below 88.000 MHz for all frequencies below that. Strange. It has essentially flipped. I think the mission trigger (space bar for 30.4) should work now; I’ll try it tomorrow. The only A-10 mod I had installed was the REDUCED TEXTURES. Thanks again for the help, and sorry that it seems like it ended up being an issue with my game files. I also added two trk files: beeponFM had the issue, beeoponFM2 was after my repair/uninstall. beeponFM.trk beeponFM2.trk
  5. https://www.twitch.tv/ghostskills82/clip/ObservantGiftedDadChocolateRain-pHEUoC7WSWlSv75Q here is a video to the comms bug. also whiplash is basically not hearable (very heavy backround-squelsh). I´ve seen campaign videos where whiplash comes in crystal clear and there´s no beep tone on 30.4 FM. had similar issues reported to baltic dragon for his iron flag campaign. he solved it, so maybe you guys can get info there. A-10C2 btw.
  6. Got the same issue. I got told to contact 30.4 FM by pressing SPACEBAR but nothing happens. The mission also doesn´t continue from there. I´ve set Radio 3 from Preset Ch.1 (Whiplash) to Manual FM 30.4. I even restarted the mission but got stuck at the same event. I can do a screenshot later if needed (have to try a third time, did not save the trk).
  7. Thank you very much for taking care of identifying and fixing the error. Let's hope that ED responds to it promptly. Thanks a lot in advance!
  8. Absolutly. Of course players just need to own the Chinook & Nevada. It´s meant like in 'Iron Flag'. It´s just part of the story that the player transitions from something else to the Chinnok, but the 'something else' won´t be flown in this campaign. In 'Iron Flag' for example, the player used to fly the A-10A in the past, but gets trained and deepdived in the A-10C for future deployments. Actually it´s just a A-10C campaign. Sorry for confusing
  9. Of course. It only makes sense once the module has been significantly further developed; otherwise, the whole thing doesn't make much sense - you're absolutely right.
  10. After going through the training tutorials multiple times, I'm currently studying the Chinook manual to understand the available systems. That's when this idea came to me... A training campaign for the Chinook, similar to "Iron Flag" for the A-10C, would be desirable. For example, a scenario where a Huey pilot transitions to the Chinook, just out of basic training, and is then trained at Nellis AFB for deployment in Afghanistan... Just a suggestion Cheers, Ghosty
  11. Hello Baltic Dragon, I was just informed via Hoggit that there seems to be an issue with the datalink connection to the F-16 in Mission 7. I replayed the mission and encountered the same problem. This mission was working perfectly about 4-5 months ago. Buzzard does not appear on the TAD, so it is not possible to take over their SPI. This is probably a small fix since the F-16 has received datalink updates in the last few months. The young man who brought this problem to our attention also created a YouTube video about it, which might help you: Could you please check on this? Thank you very much! By the way, great campaign - I've flown through it several times and still enjoy revisiting various missions from time to time! Another thing: I encountered a terrible squelsh on the ARC-210 when talking to Biff on 33.5 FM which wasn´t there 4 months ago (cant shut it down). Additionaly here´s the linke to reddit, if you like to reply:
  12. I found out in the mission editor that there is actually another convoy of pickups. They were mentioned on the radio, saying they were on their way to Tskinvali and should be stopped beforehand. However, they are actually on their way to Kurta, which is why I never found them and mistook them for the three pickups on the hill. So I played this mission again to find out that this second convoy doesn't spawn at all. Therefore, you're stuck in an infinite loop over the village - this mission cannot be successfully completed in its current state.
  13. Phew, what can I say... Essentially, this campaign is more geared towards Hind beginners. It has some minor but annoying flaws and could use some fine-tuning. More experienced Hind pilots might find it rather boring. Additionally, the incredibly ugly scenery on the oldest active DCS map, Caucasus, doesn't help. Regardless of this campaign, I believe I won't want to play another campaign on the current Caucasus map, but that's not the creator's fault. Mission 11, Escort, is personally my favorite, and for Mission 12, I would have expected to be able to drop the bombs myself (Wingman kills AAA, me dropping bombs, Mi8 dropping troops). Overall, most of the annoyances are more due to the AI rather than the mission design. AI colleagues parking in the forest, AI lead helicopters frantically changing altitude and speed, etc. On the positive side, I like the mission length, which averages between 30 and 60 minutes - so you can restart something quickly without throwing away hours of playtime. All in all, this campaign is okay, but it's far from being as authentic, challenging, or well-synchronized as the Outpost campaign. The use of the other radios would have also been useful. Here, everything is handled on a single radio... there's a reason the Hind has multiple radios. Also, the pointless training range missions where only rockets and the onboard cannon are used are quite monotonous. A bombing practice session would have been nice here.
