Nice bit of projecting there buddy, good for you. The reality here however, is that most of the seasoned players stick around because of the multiplayer, and that the broken spawns that people complain about are an embarrassment, not a minor problem. Considering the state of DCS, I don't see how anyone would defend ED after people complain to them about bugs in general. The game is full of them. Yes, the carrier is looking GREAT but if I were asked, people that bought either the Hornet or the F-14 should get it automatically for free, I believe this isn't the case but I could be wrong. Knowing ED I probably aren't. "The features have been requested for years", exactly, and when they get around to improving the game, as they glacially do because only the modules make easy money they treat the carrier as one as well! What's next? The "non-retarded missile logic" module? The "proper clouds" module? Or maybe the "actual, running VR" module?

This; -seems interesting. Ryzen 3000 seems to be doing exceptionally well in DCS. Wonder how the 3900X compares to the 9900K

I don't know man I just want a full fidelity, twin engine, big dick, fly to the edge of space at the speed of light, F-15. That, and better VR performance. A man can dream you know?

Imagine thinking that the most vocal guys in the community are the poors. Hundreds upon hundreds shout for ED to fix their game because they CAN'T get it to run properly in VR REGARDLESS of the hardware used.

I'm fairly optimistic, here: https://www.military.com/equipment/f-15e-strike-eagle It states; "During the air-to-surface weapon delivery, the pilot is capable of detecting, targeting and engaging air-to-air targets while the WSO designates the ground target." Sounds like shared workload not exclusive workload to me. At the very least this alone confirms Air-to-Air freedom for the pilot

But it's their job to build a good game? Especially one that keeps evolving into a bigger product day after day. I don't see how that's an excuse. "X can happen and Y may be a problem". It's their responsibility to calculate/foresee at least some of these errors. My boss won't give a toss if I'm late for work tomorrow, why should we keep cutting slack of off ED's terrible coding? They will never, NEVER stop working on upcoming money-maker modules like the F-16 and take a better look at the existing product until their customers say something about the current state of the game. I wish them the best of luck and that they have taken my thoughts (that are shared by many members in this community) seriously and keep their head down after the F-16 comes out.

Welcome to ED's piss poor development cycle, one that can only be found again in Star Citizen, where people pay shitloads of money for pixels, to play a game that runs like shit and will barely ever be optimized. At least it's out. Can't believe they get away with having us pay for the maps we fly our planes on. Reddit users can get more out of this game by editing files than ED ever would. Don't believe me? Here: OP, get a damn 3900X. You'll barely see a difference, you get 160% the CPU that the 9900K is for the same money and you'll upgrade next year to a 4900X that will also beat it in single core without even changing your motherboard. Also see the linked post, it will do far more good to you than buying a terrible CPU for a terrible price

Well, I think in the real F-15E the pilot does have access to just about everything the F-15E can do, certainly the radar and fire control system, possibly even navigation and whatnot. I think the co-pilot isn't even called a RIO because of this. The twin seat configuration is more of a general-load-sharing kind of deal, nobody is really dedicated to specific tasks other than the pilot flying the plane of course.

People have been saying that you can use just about all of the features of the F-15E from the front seat. You probably won't ever need a co-pilot in it

Is this for better or for worse? Any clue on why the devs just won't give us an update on this?
