  1. Thank you! I see it now!
  2. Thank you! I missed it completely. I looked down the list for the Su-27 missions and didn't see it.
  3. The latest update (Open Beta 2.5.6.54046) release info says it contains a mission for the Su-27 on the Syria map. I own the Syria Map and the FC3 module which includes the Su-27 but I do not see any missions available for Syria when I select the FC3 module.
  4. Yes that works on the ground at the start of the mission but it's hard to do that while flying because they are behind the stick. I have just re-assigned them to individual keys which makes it a little easier to tap them quickly during flight. The two key default combination made it very difficult...
  5. Thanks for the reply. I tried again and it goes from off to on so quickly I didn't notice but if you very quickly tap the key combination, the lamp do sort of incrementally adjust. It happens so fast that I really only got at most 2 positions between the off and on, not a gradual illumination or extinguish of the light. I tried to map each to sliders that I had available but it didn't work. It does work if mapped to 2 hat switches but I don't have that many available just for lamps! I would really request/suggest a slower response to the key presses to get a more gradual brightness of the lamps.
  6. Spitfire Cabin Lights I searched and couldn't find anything about this potential issue... I just recently purchased the Spitfire IX module and although I found the Cabin Lamp knobs at the bottom of the dashboard behind the joystick, I was wondering if there were key bindings that might allow for easier control while flying rather than moving the stick to access the knobs or removing the stick. I found the LH lamp and RH lamp Increase/Decrease Brightness keys listed but when I press them, they just turn the knobs from off to on and the lamp just flashes because they don't illuminate in the full On position, they have to be reduced a little for them to activate. Either the keys won't allow them to turn incrementally or I am doing something wrong! Can anyone help me out with this situation? TIA
  7. Good point! I hadn't noticed that the square is not in the Mission Editor. Only appears on the F10 map while playing...
  8. Hmmm... Well, I am running the latest versions of release and beta but it still there for me. Thanks for the feedback!
  9. Yes, I know it's fine in the game. But it has been like that on the map view since I purchased and installed the module...
  10. Thanks for the feedback! At least I'm not alone. No idea what is causing this. I run both the released version and the Beta version and it is there in both for me. It looks like a missing tile but I have tried updating and repairing using the DCS Installer but the problem is still there... I'm wondering if I should un-install the Persian Gulf map and then re-install to see if it fixes the problem...
  11. Thanks for the feedback...
  12. I've tried that several times but it's still there. I'm sure I have seen others that have mentioned this same problem on other forums just can't remember where now... I was hoping to see others here say they have the same problem and maybe the developer reply with comments too...
  13. Nope, it's just a gray square on the map rather than being blue. Don't see anything in the fly over of that area either...
  14. Hello, I see that the Persian Gulf map has gone final but I still have a gray square on the map in the Gulf of Oman (around "EN" and "FN") when I view it in F10. I do not see anything in the game when I fly over that area just in the map view. Here is a screen capture: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AlzXS4_O9SKva4PtyevDsGaJlqI?e=JyqiC8
  15. cubanace, thanks for all your efforts! Looking great so far!
  16. Thank you! Awesome job!
  17. Thank you! Much appreciated!
  18. Thank you for all these! However, the link is broken for "Static Templates" in message #2 of this thread. Do you have a new link? Or, are they now included with the updates? TIA
  19. Lenux, just to let you know, I have the same problem. The F-16A is not shown in my list of aircraft that are installed when I add the folder. HOWEVER, if you create/modify a mission (like the test mission in the VSN_F16 folder) you CAN select the F-16A from the plane list in the mission editor. Just change the VSN_F16 plane to the F-16A and that will allow you to use the F-16A with the correct cockpit. I don't know enough about what is missing or needed to add the F-16A plane to the installed list so I don't know how to make it appear :-( If anyone knows, please help us out! *** EDIT*** Nevermind... I just figured out all you need is to create a Mission folder and a mission for the plane to show up in the list!
  20. Thank you for this! Much appreciated!
  21. Anyone have this file to share?
  22. Forgive me if this has been mentioned before but I didn't see it when I looked through the previous pages... Only some of the VSN aircraft have a file in the "UnitPayloads" folder. Those that don't seem to get Nato weapons??? For example I used the "01 Su-27-Avionik.cmd" file for the Viggen and everything works but without the UnitPayloads file I don't get to select any of the standard Viggen weapons. Are these files anywhere I can get a copy of or is there a way I can create them? Help please... TIA
  23. Thanks for replying! The only reason I tried it originally was that when I installed both versions, the Saved Games\DCS folders looked identical. It seems to have worked OK so far and as I say, it makes it easy to install new mods with a single JSGME for both versions that is shared. I was just curious if anyone knew an specific reason for why it was not a good idea.
  24. Ok, now I see why you need the FC3 module! At least for anything more than a plane that only carries missiles. All the SU-25T avionics.cmd files also use the SU-27 cockpit. So, I can run the SU-25T cmd file for A-G and it will load but I don't get a cockpit because I don't have the SU-27! I guess I might need to buy the FC3 module...
