  1. Good news :) Most vital (and funny) indeed for the damage model. Canopy laying on the A10's back, still attached, only the glass kicked out.
  2. Here's one i expected (and would be cool) to happen but it didn't. I like to taxi with the canopy open. Just out of curiosity i took off with the open canopy. Nothing happened! At 300 knots it would still work and closing perfectly :dontgetit:
  3. i always order my wingman to attack mission objectives. That almost always gave me 100% completion.
  4. ok, my two cents, but the devs have probably considered all the options and this one was not possible to implement. If the forests are build of blocks just code the top level (roof) to be a no see through plane. The sides remain as they are now. So the ground vehicles can still drive through the trees but they can't see you if they are in the middle of a box, only from the edge of a forest, which is oke.
  5. Hiya, is it possible to assign joystick buttons to the F1 -> F12 keys in the communications menu? I have a old Saitek keypad of which programming is no longer supported on Vista, but i can assign it as yoke buttons. Unfortunately the F1 to F12 keys for comms are not present on BS setup page. Can this be done another way?
  6. Here's one more Affinity/priority tool. PriFinnity, works like a charm with BS on Vista. The page says its for XP so should work? http://www.geocities.com/edgemeal_software/
  7. Very nice indeed, but also a kind of unrealistic.
  8. Thanks guys for the help. After a search a wealth of information came up. The difference was that i didn't notice any airframe vibration, neither had a too high descend rate. Only after stopping i went backwards and most likely came in the still downward airflow, i figured. Anyway, i think i know now how to avoid this. Thanks again:pilotfly:
  9. Okay, i consider myself mastering this Kamov very well at the moment. After a lot of practice i now can fly it, trim it, hover it and put it back on the ground or even a moving ship with no problems. However there's one thing i don't understand. When i pull the nose up to slow down and lower the collective to maintain altitude. Then when i come to a stop (i think i also might go a little backward), sometimes the Shark starts falling from the sky. No mather what i do (change pitch, more/less collective) it keeps falling until it hits the ground.:helpsmilie:
  10. Do you have any mods installed?
  11. I have the Logitech Attack 3, a very cheap stick and i enjoy this Sim throughout. It has no hat switch, 10 buttons only and a slider. But with CTRL i have 20 buttons and with SHFT-CTRL, 30 and add ALT and i have 40 buttons to assign. So this Sim has great options to assign buttons.
  12. If he lands. My wing(wo)man decided differently. They kept hanging there on the same spot till the sun went down... 'Love is in the air.. toedoedoedoedoe..... :music_whistling:
  13. And get yourself a Aura Interactor Cushion too. It adds tremendously to immersion :prop: Not a butkicker but cushion that can be used in any chair. Might be they are no longer manufactured but still sold somewhere on the net.
  14. You can also Pause T-IR by assigning the 'Clickable mouse cockpit mode' key: Lalt-C, to your mouse button 3. I found this very handy.
  15. Nice tip, thanks :)
  16. Yes, the editor let you know. you can't
  17. If you don't add further waypoints they will act like static objects. If you add waypoints (far from the airfield) or give them a task they will start from there parking spot and taxi nicely via taxiways to the runway, if set takeoff from parking. If you set takeoff from runway they will allready be on the runway when mission starts. Vehicles also will stay on taxiways/roads when you specify 'On road' for there initial or next waypoint.
  18. In the Aircrafts properties window select: Type = Takeoff from parking. Then everything will be nicely parked. Unfortunately, as far as i know you can't specify where exactly it will be parked
  19. yes thanks, found it. Has been a long time since i used T-IR. The poor fps in FSX made it useless but in BS it's indispensable.
  20. I'm having this momentarily view snap (stop) in the center of both axis when looking forward. Is this a Track-IR thingy or BS, and how can it be switched off. Thanks ia
  21. Thanks a lot Lobo63. Did a search but couldn't find such post. But it works now!
  22. Is it possible to have BS start in multi core affinity automatically all the time? It boosts BS up to 10-20 fps extra on my system, but as it is now i have to set affinity manual every time i start a new mission.
  23. Yeah i like it too! Together with my old Aura Cushion (feeling the rotor vibration physically) it makes a total immersive experience. It should be a radio button on the Graphics setting page to have it permanently activated.
  24. Hi, i understand your frustration, same thing i went through untill tonight. I suddenly got the grips of how to trim well, it has to be a very quick tap of the trim button while at the same time (just as quick) the controls have to be released to center position. I also had the problem with the AP buttons switching themselves off. I went through the key and yoke assignment setup and deleted all axis assignments that i don't use for a particular device. I also checked for double key assignments. After that the AP disconnect didn't occur anymore. One other thing maybe usefull: yoke buttons don't seem to work as long as a SHFT or CTRL button is depressed.
  25. Hey, mine blinks green :) when the Track-IR app. is not running. I think it's an indication that the device is in standby and therefore there is almost no wear.
