Hi, When I click on the , "new posts" button at the top of the forum home page it will list all new posts in all languages. Is it possible to list only new posts in one language? I've checked the CP with no luck and I know you can do it by advanced search. Thanks, Sam

Here's a link to the download http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=293664 Installed with no problems on vista 64, supposedly fixed the powerplay for 4870 X2 folks. I got an increase of 3fps in the winter attack replay (by know means a scientific test) Full shadow is not fixed. Tried lomac (not FC)and seemed to run smoother with FPS increase. No cloud flicker, however I didn't have it with the 9.4's with both gpus running. If your willing to take the plunge might be worth your while. Please attempt at your own risk, and as always, your mileage may very. You have been advised.

Your bottleneck is your cpu/mobo more than your GPU. I had a similiar setup with a P4 3.0 and a 3850 agp card with 2 gig and I had to turn everything down to low just to fly. Even if you set your resolution lower you would get the same FPS. I ended up upgrading.

Yea i've tried that as well, still didn't seem to work. No doubt it's something I am failing to do in a particular order or what not.

Curious if anyone else has had problems with setting this joystick up? I would like to be able to use the A/B modes however after getting the saitek software setup, BS does not recognize the commands. I can map the commands in BS but that limits me to OFF mode thus eliminating 26 plus other command options. I finally said F**k it and uninstalled the saitek software and have resigned myself to having only 13 commands mapped through BS. I've gone to saitek's website with no joy. Thanks, Sam

Can someone tell me when BS deletes the temp folder contents? The reason why is I reinstalled BS and had no cloud flickering with my both gpus on my 4870 X2 running. I installed a few mods using modman and I noticed the cloud flickering returned. I uninstalled all mods and still had the flickering. I started the computer up this morning and the flickering is gone. I have no idea if these two actions are related yet. But if anyone has any feedback please post. I have no idea which mod it was, if at all ( i'd rather not say at the moment which one I think might of been causing the problem) as I will test each one separately. Disclaimer: I am not bashing any mods made by anybody here in the community, just trying to figure out my problem Thanks, Sam

Just for FYI I have a 4870 X2 on 9.3s and if I disable one of the GPUs(Disable catalyst AI) the cloud flickering goes away and there doesn't appear to be a performance hit. I thought I read this somewhere but I can't find it. BTW I tried all the other fixes and they don't work for my X2. Only disabling one GPU works.

Are you changing the the cpu clock,FSB or both. Also what voltages are you running?

Just a quick update. I have the case together and installed BS first. I have all settings on the 4870 x2 card set at max with a max res of 1920x1200. I also have all settings in BS maxed and I get between 30-50 fps on 9.2 drivers. No problems with them at all so far. That damn 4870 x2 is huge! I really didn't get a sense on how big and heavy it was until I picked it up. The AMD X3 720 2.8 ghz cpu is running at 3.6ghz. I still need to do prime testing. I couldn't get the fourth core enabled on mine but I'm ok with it.

Oops I forgot, I have the Creative SB X-fi Xtremegamer sound card too although it's pci 2.1.

Hello folks, Doing a complete upgrade specifically for BS (Don't tell my wife, I told here it was for her benefit):thumbup: So this is what I bought: GIGABYTE GA-MA790FXT-UD5P AMD|PH II X3 720 BK AM3 2.8G Sapphire 4870 X2 8 gigs of DDR3 CORSAIR|CMPSU-650TX 650W PS Vista 64 bit And of course the other odds and ends. Anyway curious to see if the new AMD cpu can run BS, I would imagine, after reading around, the cpu should do around 3.3g fairly easy. Curious what you guys think. Fairly inexpensive upgrade as well (relatively that is) Sam
