  1. Its crazy. Got the F14 and immediately felt the lack of Simshaker for a couple of days. Just downloading the beta now.
  2. Updates started
  3. Heatblur - Congratulations. I can only imagine how your team must be feeling with the launch of the most anticipated module in DCS. You have set an incredibly high bar. Thank you for all of your hard work.
  4. Ah- good catch. Thanks. Sent from my SM-N960U1 using Tapatalk
  5. All, Relative newbie to DCS. I've been trying to get more into multiplayer and I'm struggling to get into the groove and I was hoping for some advice. I log on in the evening (930pm in PST time zone) on most days including weekends and I find a few servers that have more than 20+ people in them (ThroughtheInferno, Hoggit/GeorgiaAtWar, BuddySpike, etc). I'm on discord & teamspeak but I've noticed very few people logging into discord. I've also tried to team up but it hasn't worked so far because of time zones. Really fun and educational but I'm not on when they are which makes it quite challenging. Most squadrons seem to be GMT or EST so far. The squadron list doesn't make it easy to see which ones are PST. I'm looking for a light milsim multiplayer experience - what do you guys recommend?
  6. Ok. I went through this process. you need to do a couple of things to make absolutely sure you are getting freesync working on Nvidia cards. First. Get a driver cleaner. Uninstall current driver. Restart. Install latest Nvidia driver Restart Second. Make sure Freesync/Adaptive sync is on use the monitor OSD. Restart Third. check to make sure Gsync setup menu item shows up in Nvidia Control Panel. Check the box for Gsync Compatib;e and full screen and windowed. Restart Before starting a game, open up your monitor and turn on any displays that show real time refreshrate. Most monitors should have one. Check the range of freesync/adaptivesync on your monitor - my monitor is 60Hz to 100hz which means I need to keep my fps between those ranges Open up your favorite game. Turn off vsync. SOmetimes the real time refresh rate acts screwey in the menu areas. Make sure you are launching the game itself. At this point, you should see the refresh rate display changing - i have a bar graph but you may numbers - regardless you should see it changing which means display is changing its refresh to match fps. Voila. Adjust game settings to Keep your fps between your monitor freesynch range and you should be alll set.
  7. Damn. You guys are seriously talented. My first attempt at painting a model. In progress. Sent from my SM-N960U1 using Tapatalk
  8. 15 official but a lot more unofficially. I have my 35" ultrawide 1440p freesync monitor running with a nvidia card using the latest drivers and its magical. So smooth. Sent from my SM-N960U1 using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks but my approach worked. To each their own. I found a group that reached out to me. Sent from my SM-N960U1 using Tapatalk

    Bonus

Customer loyalty programs rarely work out. Companies can always tweak bonus / rewards programs to discourage usage or make it harder to use when they would be actually useful. Example airline points, credit card points, hotel points. You got to jump through a lot of hoops and rules change constantly. Sent from my SM-N960U1 using Tapatalk

  12. VooDoo - Looking for any PST timezone folks that fly the Su27?
  13. N2 - I'm on the west coast - Hit me up on the weekends and I'm happy to fly with you. I don't have a squad but we can PVP until we both find one that works for us. I fly Su27's mostly and will be getting the f14B.
  14. Looking to join a squadron or fly PVP. I'm on the US west coast and it hasn't been working out time wise to fly with the european time zone folks even though it's a ton of fun. I mostly fly Su27's and will be getting the F14B. Thanks.
  15. Having some really strange issues. Russian planes refuse to start their engines in TTI SP Persian Gulf mission. I jumped between Su27, Su25 and mig29, Shift-L, then Shift-Home - nothing. I jump into an A10A - it works. I've noticed this sometimes on the mP server as well. What could be causing this behavior?
  16. Ah that's great. Thanks for the link.
  17. The hardest one there is stopping cows from farting. Not sure how you can do that. Man on moon sure. No farting cows - not so easy. Sent from my SM-N960U1 using Tapatalk
  18. Absolutely. Triple checked. Tried it with full / abbreviated and dot. Without labels.lua it works. Without, it doesnt. Sent from my SM-N960U1 using Tapatalk
  19. You can fix one, you can't fix another. Sent from my SM-N960U1 using Tapatalk
  20. I'm in the us. Comes with us plug adapter and it worked right out of the box. Sent from my SM-N960U1 using Tapatalk
  21. I’ve downloaded 2 different Labels.lua files and Placed them in the config/view directory but when I start up DCS it does not show any labels. If I delete the file and restart DCS it shows the regular labels. It feels that like there is something about a labels.Lula file that is incompatible with the latest version of DCS open beta. Is anyone having this issue? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Yes. Sorry meant Vaicom not voiceattack. Sent from my SM-N960U1 using Tapatalk
  23. Oh I see. That's not ideal for sure. I'm going to try and see if I can consistently identify where these issues crop up. Sent from my SM-N960U1 using Tapatalk
  24. Is there a video that addresses voiceattack and srs setup? Sent from my SM-N960U1 using Tapatalk
