  1. I went to change the HUD color, nothing happens. I hit L, nothing happens. I tried the key shortcuts for all the lights and nothing happens. I was trying to assign those to my MFP and thought something was wrong with my programming. So I tried it in game, without the MFP and none of those keys are working. However they do work via the clickable cockpit. Any thoughts?
  2. I got it, thanks all.
  3. Nice YoYo I love my PDF on the Ipad too. I wanted hard ciopies I could take to work and read during slack time. I cant have an Ipad were I work sinces it a secure area.
  4. Anyone have a CMC file for just the CH MFP?
  5. I scored at Office Depot for $61.04. Clear front, blue cardstock back, Coil binding, Front page in color and the pages in black and white, doubles sided. The black and white is amazing. You wouldn't need color the images are so clear. I had to break the manual into two parts because they didn't have a coil binding big enough for the entire 672 pages. So for those of you who wanted to get yours printed but not spend a lot of money, try this.

  16. None on the E-3A/B/C
  17. Yes the crew will be pre-briefed. Also if the A/C determines that his aircraft may become a target, he can request escort even before they take off. For DCS AO being really small, unless the AWACS is flying with really good SAM protection near it, I would put a 2 to 4 ship as escort. Put 2, 25 to 35 miles away in a counter race track pattern (in other words opposite of the pattern the AWACS is doing) and the other 2 at 100 miles. These 2 will be placed between the AWACS and the FEBA.
  18. Coming from the AWACs world (I was with the 552nd ACW from 2006-2008), escorts depend on the threat environment. That is how they determine if they need escort or not.
  19. Yep sure is Ghost. The review will be up soon. Its a nice piece of kit.
  20. Doesn't seem anything is moving on it. Looking like Vaporware to me. Sure is nice though.

  23. Took me a couple days and I will have a review of it at CombatAce in a few days.
  24. I thought they were the ones who got the AESA radar.
  25. JTIDS was slowly introduced in the late 80's and still being added in the 1990's. Not sure why it was taking them so long to have it intrgrated. I know after a one year OT&E in 2001 I think, the ANG and the USAF got the Link 16. In 1986 when I was 14 and my dad was at Hanscom AFB, he took me to a hanger set up for some big wigs. In it was an F-15C and a portable (I assume demo model) of the JTIDS box. They had an F-15 stick attached to it and the pilot was showing how to use it. It was beyond cool. It occured to me that the radar is easy mode it very much like the JTIDs display.
