Fellas if we could tell you all, we would. We really would. I would love to tell you because its really is exciting for lack of a better word. And yes the "Do you know" was a poor choice of words. Yes it taking longer but I think the end result will meet or exceed your expectations. Now these are my words. I can not presume that everyone will be happy. We all know that will not happen. The testers and I AKA "The Rook" just want you to trust us.

It's not vaporware. Do you know the amount of fixes and additions the dev did in the last 30 days? I about choked on the list. Stuff you all asked to be fixed is in there. They added some stuff. Wags isn't dicking around guys. He and the dev team are kicking ass and taking names. I have no doubt you all will like what you get. Again I probably said too much and will get fired. I just want you all its coming, just stand by one...

I have in the model viewers bazar/temp textures folder

I have done that. Tha's easy but how do I get the EDM to use it?

Then point the EDM to that folder?

I use the model viewer for skinning. How do I get it to use custom named skins? i.e. Instead of using the default name; f15_centr.bmp I'm using this name f15_centr_27th.bmp Any ideas?

As I said I am the rookie of the group but these testing vets really really put their heart into this. Spelling mistakes are noted as well. These guys are passionate about this sim, they are anxious to get a final product out too so they can quit testing and start playing too. Some of you know me and I have a big mouth, like to start crap (when I know I'm right) etc and I am very humbled by these guys and their dedication. Yep someone was able to shut Dave up for once. :D

I wonder if I am going to say too much here but I think I'll be ok. I just joined the test team a few weeks ago. Just to give you some of my background. I used to be a tester and mission maker for LOMAC years ago. Anyway, they (ED) use this bug tracker and its amazing the amount of work the test/dev team do behind the scenes, hell even what they do in a day. These guy are not sitting on their hands waiting to count the money (DE MONE, DE MONE) :D Viper, GG, Nate, paulrkiii just to name a few go through the testing like you were at Edwards AFB doing a pre flight on a new fighter. Its amazing, it really is. From a bug on the skin of the plane, to 3D model problems, to logic errors....they are on it. I just wanted to let you fellas know that. They are really working hard to make FC3 not only work but work right. Being the new tester, all I can say is FC3 is amazing.
