You know I have been flight simming since Christ was a Corporal, ok not that long but ever since F-15E Strike Eagle on a C64. The reason I say that is because I cant seem to get flying the Tomcat down. Even when I pull back gentle on the stick I get into a spin. Not sure what I am doing wrong. So forget trying to dogfight in it. I can't keep it out of a spin. I watch my corner speed etc. Flat spin time. I don't have this issue with any other plane so I have got to be doing something wrong. Please advise.

I have backed everything up to my 4TB external drive, just in case. But in a way I might start from scratch when I get the F-14...

Are there any issues for transferring my DCS from my old computer to my new computer I should know about? Is there anything in general I need to know? Thank you in advance.

Now that you have triggered my memory I just dragged my pilot I have had since DCS started over from a back up install. Now that's better. Thank for the memory jog.

There used to be a way to edit the pilot log....which I cant find because I took a 2.5 yr simming break and what a mistake that was.

Well having searched for darn near 30 minutes, how do you bring your pilot back from the dead? I forgot.

After I fire a 530 the plane rolls badly. I know it should a bit since you just fired that big heavy missile but so much it make it hard to stay level? Or is it accurate and I need to be trimming the devil out of it?

Yeah I think the RCS on the Raf-D is too big.

I spent the better part of the evening testing the 530. Its terrible. Out of 6 shots in the following conditions listed below only 1 tracked. Target was a Mig-21 at 16500 ft, clear day, no background clutter, 40 miles apart staring point, with a head on aspect ratio. One issue is that I could not get the radar to find the Mig-21 until it was under 20 miles. The radar and the missiles need tweaking badly. The Magic was not much better. 6 shots, 2 hits, tail on range 3 miles x2, 2 miles x2 and 1 mile x2. The 2 mile launches are the ones that hit. I can get better performance out of the AIM-9B and I am not exaggerating. (ok maybe a little bit there) :)
