  1. I built my pit using 9mm MDF rather than cardboard...
  2. Same here.... Makes it a bit difficult to align INS in the Harrier :-)
  3. I have them... PM me with your email address and I'll zip them up and send then to you.... This is how I used them:- https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=243783&highlight=shadow912
  4. Anyone else received the email yesterday? Allegedly they're on the way!! Should be arriving in Europe on Monday (20th) and then shipping soon after!! (Shadow912<---- SUCKER!!:lol::lol:)
  5. So guys, I'm thinking a new GPU is in order... If I'm going to do it I'm going to do it big.... So I'm thinking a GTX 2080 ti. Should I go ASUS, MSI, ZOTAC, EVGA, Gigabyte.....? @harlikwin @imacken :- Guys, I see you use a 2080ti with your systems (which almost the same as mine (I have an i7 7700). What settings are you using in VR, are you able to 'push it to the max' with your graphics settings and get good performance (FPS etc) on your HP Reverb?
  6. Have a look at my pit, I used a design for my landing gear and landing hook that I found on youtube (I'll see if I can find it again and link it). I used a model car suspension spring to give them some 'feel' and microswitches. You can either do it with 2 switches (no lua programming) or to save on time you can use just one switch and add a couple of lines of code to the joystick lua file. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=243783
  7. I have raised the issue with HP Support and although they don't think it's a hardware problem, they have raised a DOA report and I am getting the whole system replaced by HP. Not sure how long it will take though... I was using 441.41 and that was the driver I couldn't get the headset to work with. I only upgraded the Nvidia drivers to 441.66 yesterday but by then the headset was already packed up and ready for its return journey to HP. I will now just wait until I get my replacement and see what happens then... I'm not actually that hopeful to be honest lol...
  8. Nothing has resolved the issue for me. I bought an externally powered USB hub and still got the same error. I have called HP support and they have been next to no help! I am waiting to receive a DOA (dead on arrival) report from them so I can send it back. I'm gutted as I was soooo looking forward to the higher resolution that the Reverb produces. There is nothing left to check so it looks like I'm resigned to the fact there are higher forces at work here. I've updated everything I can, unplugged and re-plugged everything I can, I have a better spec PC than HP suggest and nothing I do will make it work....
  9. TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE!
  10. Credit card company on the case! Looks like the eu.realteus.com website is still up....
  11. Ahhhgggg.... Just got in to work and picked up my hub... It's not externally powered.... Back on amazon to order the correct item lol
  12. And now the website is down.... That's it for me, I am contacting my credit card company this morning. So very very disappointed :no_sad:
  13. Just found an Anker 4 port USB3.1 powered hub..... let's see if it works before I start shouting at HP (Well I will be shouting about my 'not quite 2 year' 2 year warranty!)
  14. Using the 2 port non-powered or a powered version? (Sorry so many questions )
  15. What card are you using? Did I see some of the guys had issues with the Inateck cards?
  16. The error goes away and then when I reconnect it comes back...
  17. Haven't had a chance to check this as my friend brought only his HMD not his PC when we were testing...
  18. Unfortunately it doesn't matter how many times I disconnect and reconnect the USB cable, mine never works. I see it in the USB list but nothing is showing on the displays and WMR says Please connect the display cable...
  19. Just as an aside... I just checked on the HP website for my warranty details and my 2 year warranty for my Reverb which I received on Monday runs out in October 2021 ???? Go figure!!:mad:
  20. Thanks for all your comments guys. I tried removing all other USB devices apart from keyboard and mouse - no joy I removed my monitor from the DP port is was using and connected up my TV using HDMI - no joy. Tried all the USB3.0 (blue) ports and all the DP ports on my GTX1080Ti - no joy So I think I might have a duff reverb but as @imaken said, it's strange that my friend's reverb wouldn't work on my system either... Totally at a loss... A call to HP later to see if they have any other ideas... I'll keep you all posted :-(
  21. It's been restarted multiple times... but thanks ;-)
  22. So... Yes I do have the Oculus Rift, I disconnected it and deleted all the software - no joy. I am using USB 3.0 (Blue USB sockets), tried all sockets - no joy Not unplugged all USB devices but I will try that this evening. I have tried all three DP ports (which all work with my monitor btw) - no joy. I don't have HDMI on my monitor but I have a large TV in the same room with HDMI, I'll try that this evening too. Middle connection? I guess you mean the connection on the HMD, I tried connecting the USB and DP connections first then connecting the HMD via the middles connection - no joy I'll report back after trying your suggestions. I have also checked this solution but I don't have the subfolder with the BAD_EDID in my registry settings. Go the registry editor, press start and type regedit, press enter to open. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\DISPLAY In there find the default display folder. Inside that folder, there may be a parameter sub folder. In the subfolder, see if there is a line that starts with BAD_EDID If there is, delete the whole parameter folder and reboot. Now your HMD should be detected as a monitor by windows. I have also tried another Reverb unit (owned by a friend of mine) on my system and we got the same error so I don't think I have a dodgy unit.... Starting to tear my hair out a little now :dunno:
  23. Hi, I'm looking for some help. I recently purchased an HP Reverb Pro VR system. I have followed the online instructions to connect the device to my PC but when Windows Mixed Reality runs, it gives me the following message: [Error 1-4 - Connect your Display cable]. My system is as follows: Asus Mobo, Core i7-7700k @4.20Ghz, NVidia GeForce GTX 1080ti GPU, 32GB ram, 250GB SSD, 1TB HDD. I have removed and reinstalled the GPU drivers using the NVidia DDU software (in safe mode), removed WMR and WMR for Steam and reinstalled. PC is fully updated. Nothing is working, I see the device appear in the device manager when I connect the USB cable but nothing is showing in monitors section. Anyone had the same issues?
  24. I emailed them on Friday to see what was going on and guess what.... no reply!!
