this is a silly question how can I launch DCS from inside the headset?

I'm not sure if this is a Reverb problem or something else. It seems alot of the time when I have my headset on I cannot move my mouse. If I look at the mixed reality screen I am able to move the mouse and click with it. I try pressing windows Y but that doesn't help. Is any one else having this issue?

Like I said it was something stupid I was doing. I tried again last night when I got home after poking around I noticed that I was getting a prompt that multiplayer was not enabled. Worked great after that with the F18. I tried refueling in the F-16 and it would recognized my and would repeat it but would not answer back. Ended up using the keyboard with worked. Is there anything that I need to do special for the F-16? BTW thanks for everyone's help.

I believe I have setup VP correctly on my new computer. When I push the PPT I hear the squelch and sometimes a beep. However when I try to contact the tanking using Approaching for refueling nothing happens. I've setup the mic. It has to be something stupid I am doing. Does anyone have a recommendations?

Please disregard I made the stupid mistake of not checking enable plugin support

I am in the process of trying to install voiceattack and ViacomPro on my new machine. After I copy the Vaicompro folder into the app folder. When I restart VA again the folders which include the profile one is not being created. I can't for the life of me figure out why.

Sorry one last questions. This one is a little on the stupid side, how do I disable modules? Are modules considered both plane's and map's

I have a question which appears to have been answered. I am setting up a brand new computer. I was planning to reinstall DCS and hopefully move over my profiles for my keybindings to the new computer. After reading this thread it seems that instead of a fresh install I could copy the DCS folder to the new computer and deactivate the modules first. Thanks in advance

Unfortunately just as I have it working pretty well I am switching machines. Can I just move it from one machine to the other? Or do I just repeat the installing from scratch?

FYI I am in this group, and have emailed asking for you to send me an invoice. I understand your reluctance if you don't have the parts, but frankly I'm not worried about you getting them and turning them around. I have total faith in you and what your doing trying to perfect your product. For me, send the invoice now I'll pay it gladly (my job done) for you send me the product when you feel it is to the point you want to distribute it. In both cases it is to my benefit. You are probably about 1000 hours of development time beyond where anyone would dispute your motives. That said I admire your ability to get this product to market and respect your integrity. For me take your time it benefits us all. And Dam I hope you are proud of your's and your families accomplishment. My guess is that this is a labor of love. Hats off to you and your family

My number is now in the range. Is there anything I need to do. I have absolutely no problem doing the paperwork now. The way I look at it one more thing to check off on my to do list.

I apologize in advance I think it has been asked. I've switched to VR recently, now when I complete a trap I only see one line of the summary on the bottom right on my headset. Is there a setting that I need to change to get the complete summary? This is such a great tool that has helped me more then I could tell you. Thanks

Does anyone know if it's ok to wipe the lenses with alcohol?

I have tow operational questions. I was flying the F-18 using multiplayer on a server that had multiple tankers in the air. I waited till I was somewhat close to the tanker I wanted before I said Approaching for Refueling. To which VA selected another tanker to direct me to. Is there a way to specify which tanker you are calling? Secondly I was not able to get the TACAN Tune Xray 74 command to change the tacan frequency. Thanks

Thank you for your suggestions I think you were 100 percent right it was my mic. To be honest it was driving me a little crazy I knew I was so close to it working but I couldn't make it. I ran through a the windows mic setup and I saw it registering audio in VA. The next command I'm onto is TACAN Tune.

Hi Greyman, I tried deleting the script file, at first I thought it may work because I was hearing the beep after I say a command however it was frustrating because I had switched windows and when I switched back to my mouse was not working in VR. After rebooting I tried VA and no luck. I'll play with again tomorrow when I have more time. Thanks for your suggestions.

I checked and I'm running as administrator. VR loads and appears to work however is does not respond to any of my commands..

Oddly VA stopped working for me, is there a troubleshooting guide of any kind?

I wouldn't worry about it my honest my file structure was the same way so I just set it the DCS folder. It is really great to have it working. I just started flying VR and it is so hard to pull the headset off find the mouse and hit the right key this should be a game changer.

Thank you hornblower you were spot on. This morning I tried what you said which also reminded me of a video I had seen weeks ago while I was researching VA. I copied the link for anyone else who may want to look at it. However I was able to refuel today without having to use my mouse a huge bonus. Now I have to practice with the commands. Greyman thanks for the encouragement it was helpful.

Thanks for the suggestion yes I have tried that, oddly that's those are the two things I really want to move away from the mouse.

Thank you Hollywood for your reply I did get a chance to run thru your troubleshooting list as best I could. Unfortunately no change In the end. I was not able to fix the Comm 1 menu which goes on and off repeatly on/off every 5 sec. I also cannot speak a command and have DCS invoke it. When I push the PPT I hear the squelch sometimes I hear a short beep after I say a command. I am using Reverb VR headsets. When I was troubleshooting these are some of the things I was not sure I addressed properly. In DCS F-18 I could not find any of the Hotas Mic Switch options, either in the Hotas section or using the search function. For my TX press/release I've tried a few configurations. First I try to set them all to the TX's to the button I've assigned as PTT. I've also tried only setting TX1 to the PTT. Then I tried setting TX1 and TX2 to the PTT. I did also do the DCS repair. BTW your video's are very well done as well as helpful, I'm excited to get this working it will be a game changer for me I think.

Thanks I'm back home Wednesday I'll give it a try. Will that fix the problem of the comm menu coming up even when I do not push any buttons
