TX1 is set to SRS 1 TX2 is set to SRS 2 TX3 is set to SRS 3 Do I map the Joystick button for Push to Talk to All 6 TX positions In VA profile? Right now I have is for TX1 only when I push the 1 thru 6 keys of my PTT button I hear the squelch sound

Hello I'm very new to VaicomPro so this maybe a mistake I am making. However what has happened since I installed Voice Attack is the Com 1 Menu keeps coming on with out me doing anything. Is there a something I've done wrong perhaps

Is there a way to download the commands to a word process. I hope this hasn't been answered multiple time and I have just missed it
-
Thanks for taking the time, I'll give that a whirl and look up on the command list to hopefully get a better understanding.

Please excuse if this has been answered before. I am new to both VR and Viacom Pro. The first use for it will be in air to air refueling. What command would I speak for inbound , ready pre contact. I cant wait to use this it is going to be a huge help to me.

Thank you so much for sharing this link it will be a huge help for me.

thanks that very helpful information. Sometimes when I play DCS I lose the ability to mouse click. I was in a mode where a white dot appeared on the screen that was clickable when looking at a floating Comm's menu. Did I just dream that happened or is there a setting?

Thanks very much

I set up my new reverb yesturday. I was able to fly around using Steam I'm not 100 percent sure how I did it. However I have a stupid question, can I only fly DCS using Steam?

Mine arrives on Monday so I dido what you said about needing help, I'm in the exact same boat as you. Everyone input in this thread has been a huge help for me.

This is my first experience with VR. I have a very silly basic question once I have the headset plugged in and installed. Do I start DCS normally to use the headset or do I start DCS using SteamVR or Windows Mixed Reality.
-
Thank you I downloaded and installed both of those, I'd like to be as prepared as possible to hopefully minimize the learning curve.

I've just ordered mine from HP due to ship on the 21st. Thank you to everyone who has posted I've monitored this thread closely which has been a huge help for me. This is my first step into VR is there anything I can do from a software perspective to prepare? For example should I install SteamVR? Thank you

Brunner Force Feedback Joystick Base
jameslockridge replied to Mozart's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Thanks for setting that up Kingpinda it will be very helpful -
I do like the Brunner base, the force feedback is apparently supported right now thru vjoy. I've not gotten it to work yet and tech support is on holiday for another week. To be honest it probably won't be that big a deal for me. I'm working on mastering AAR and carrier landings and haven't even started using the gun. What I like about the base is the hardware trim which seems more natural for me.

I posted this in another forum. I got my grip yesterday it has now officially replaced my Virpil T-50CM2. It is connected to the Brunner base and for the first time makes that base come alive. After 1 or 2 hrs total flying time what I like the most is the weight of the grip, it feels very natural and meaty in my hand and it's the first grip that I don't feel like it is over sensitive. I'm still very much a beginner with DCS and the F-18. However it has already helped with my Air to Air refueling. My Banker score has improved by 20 points on a good trap (lets not talk about the other ones). How it really helped me is for the transition between the break turn and gear and flaps down and the dreaded trimming for flying on speed (my problem child). I'm away from it for the next week or so sadly.

RealSimulator F/A-18 grip

I just received mine and I love it so far. -
Thanks for the help I was able to tank with the KC-135MPRS this morning. I found it very hard to stay on the drogue for an extended period of time. I have the same issue with the S-3B. I'll keep practicing eventually the light will go off.
-
I have been tanking using the KC-130 which seems to work the best for me. I also can use the S-3B which for some reason I have a harder time staying connected. I have been flying in the Aerobatics online server and see there are also KC-135's and KC-135MPRS. When I try to tank up with them I only see the boom are those no good for the F-18?

Brunner Force Feedback Joystick Base
jameslockridge replied to Mozart's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I'm pretty sure all the buttons will work. You should ask about the beta software, I've been working with Stephan and he seem very nice and helpful. I'm hoping the base arrives this week. -

I should get a look at that when my base get's back. Let me know if there is anything you want me to test. I'm really only flying the F-18 now, and am green to it so I'll do my best.
