I have a Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, and there is a 4-way/push-button MIC switch on the throttle, that is used predominantly for the comms buttons. I have that set up with VHF on the forward button and UHF on the down button. The other 2 directions are also set up but aren't used by the viper I think I'm going to switch to this setup, how do you know if it is VHF or UHF? I what trying to contact Luchini in an F16 and the ATC Freq was 133.00. I was not able to set the freq in either comm 1 or Comm 2. Was I using the wrong freq.

The good news is, because of this production delay, the GUI is moving along nicely and is now communicating with the HMS. I will keep you posted, That is a great looking interface I'm very impressed I can't wait to use it.

No I had shut down DCS when I took the screen shot, I've never heard of Gospadin's Kneeboard is that something I could load?

That makes good sense I may do that myself. I'm not sure when you have to use VHF AM Radio.

BTW it's so great to have this working, there is no way I could have done this without your help. I appreciate the effort you put in on my behalf.

This is how my PTT is setup. Does that mean you have two physical buttons assigned as PTT?

Greyman you were completely right it was that I wasn't transmitting to TX2. I now have Transmit TX2 only set to TX2. The other thing I noticed was that in the PTT screen it was on MAN. Since my PTT is only set to TX2 does that mean the I can oonly use UHF?

To Transmit on TX2 do I need to assign another button on my HOTAS?

Thanks for helping Greyman much appreciated. I'm sure I've tune the radio properly especially since it work when I go back to keystroke mode. I also went back and disabled the PTT 2 keybinding. that didn't help it. It's very frustrating, when I jump into the F18 it work no problem.

This is a screenshot of 1st requesting the tanker using VA. It appear to recognize the command. I hear VA issue the Command. The tanker does not reply. The 2nd is requesting the tanker using \ Tanker F1 It recognizes the command I hear the Command The tanker answers To me it all looks right

The really strange part is that I can make the Requesting Rearming voice command work fine. I also hear VA make the correct Approching for Refuel request. But the game does not respond when it comes from VA. I always end up using the keyboard.

I found where it is located in the Training section.

My bad I found it in the Training option.

I am saying Approaching for Refuel. Then I hear Voice Attack say the command, but the tanker never responds. It works for me in the F-18

Is there a Lesson for starting the F-16 where the switch light up?. It looks like there is when I watch the video from Wags?

Yes if I use the keyboard the tanker responds.

Does anyone have trouble with the F 16 getting the tanker to answer?

Is there a way to turn the chatter off, I though there was simple way to do this but I cant find it.
