I think I hosed Vaicom good. I'd like to reinstall it from scratch but have no idea how to backup the 800 words I taught it. Pointers?

when you have the bash feature of win10 installed or a cygwin shell, you can replace the usb IDs with sed. if you know sed. if not google "replace strings in files with sed".

Not what I meant: run a user only BT in addition and skim the productive inputs one-way into the "closed" internal trackers. You delivered the best example, a feature request ticket in a good BT would have suggested me some tickets to check if my issue was already filed.

I'd appreciate a bug tracker instead of handling bugs via the forums. BT means efficient display of the issue at hand, categorizing severtiy, add tags, have a proper feedback channel via comments and mail notification, file attachments for logs and screenshots wetc., but without the hundreds of pages of chatter that make if tedious and harrassing to find specific information. Something like serverfault.com plus attachments would do.

Would it be within any 3rd party module contributor's freedom to raise a bug tracker outside the eagle.ru domain? There are support cases with page count aiming at the hundreds and a forum is hardly eligible to efficiently track, categorize, priorize, tag-manage support cases. This goes for all of DCS, not only HB, but I wonder more about what has to stay under ED's umbrella and what has not.

I never used another profile but "VAICOM PRO for DCS World" so I guess I should be good to go, but radio tune does not do anything. One other thing, I can't get AIRIO to display the short menu list, any other option that needs to be set?

Well, whenever I clear my throat or make the slightest noise on my table that gets recognized as "Perth" for whatever reason, even after retraining... I love Vaicom, but currently lots of oddities.

FIXED: worked after system restart. Some others, then, don't, like radio tune, take and I can't train "Two" for reasons beyond me.

No idea if still relevant, but there is a setting in VoiceAttack as well which enginge to use. That defaulted back to my OS language when I messed with profiles. Look somewhere in VA settings.

Say I stay at different locations and have flight sim machines at both - can I install DCS both technically and legally on both and install all my modules when only using one PC at the same time?

Minor cosmetic issue: when I press a TX, the radio "k-chk" effect comes all alone, fine, when I release, it goes "k-chck" again, but with some UI sound best described as two short bells descending. Even with DCS not running yet. Where do I get rid of that?

I remember that a demo crew once figured the original 1541 had the same 6510 CPU as the C64 itself and managed to co-use it to process faster. The marvellous crazy shit back then. Tho the 1541-II was much faster. </offtopic>
