  1. Ill have to stick with the vkb mcg pro and remove springs, tighten dry clutch and add an extension. I really like the mcg pro grip now.
  2. Really? Dagnabit i was planning on vkb stick + warthog throttle but now i dont even know, i dont feel like working a long time just to buy microhelis.de equipment ya know. Its no biggy tho ive still some time, ill just keep an eye out for a new throttle. Thanks yall
  3. Bro haha i tell u guys my budget is 400ish € and then people recommend the vkb gunfighter mcg pro which is a lil above 400, and then u recommend me a 2k, 3k or 4k hotas? Jk but thats way too expensive, it will cost more than my entire pc.
  4. That quality tho, but seriously ur 'rolling' with a 2080ti but then u have that 'quality' stick. Lolz i can not comprehend ur priorities.
  5. I see, ur right ill probably regret it later on, besides comparing the the WH grip to the mcg pro the WH grip isnt all that good anymore. But ill see what my budget allows.
  6. Vkb base looks a bit more simple. Edit: hmm there are sales maybe i should buy the ka50 and perphaps the mi 8 now.
  7. I see but the vkb base is better right? Cuz it also has 2 separate axes and it moves 22° if i remember correctly, either way u can move the stick more on vkb base than warBRD. Im thinking ill get the warthog + extension and remove spring + add friction somehow so that the stick will stay in place, but if budget is bigger than i thought then i might look into buying the gunfighter mcg pro. But if i did that id need a collective and i cant find any except maybe komodsims' collective which is like 1000$ (collective + base) defenitely not gon buy that shit, besides those collective dont have many buttons and dont resemble the ka50' collective at all. I heard komodosims are making a ka50 collective tho, is that true? Do u guys know of any decent heli collective?
  8. -0303- What do you mean by x and y axes not seperated? Also what is an FF base and what is a contactless base? Lols sorry and thanks for answering :) Edit: Ok ff is force feedback.
  9. Sandman1330 u seem to know alot about helos, can u explain why u would need to trim a helo when the doesnt center? Im sure im missing something here
  10. But its 400 for only the stick, i definetelly will give it a look after i buy a new monitor and trackir
  11. Allright then ill buy the warthog and an extension and see if ill remove the spring or not when its in my hands Thanks for the advice, the dcs community is quite amazing honestly :) I might eventually buy the best of the best but trackir has a higher priority.
  12. How long until i would see problems with the plastic gimbal? Is this smart or not: i buy a warthog, remove its spring and buy an extension?
  13. Heey im also from belgium :) i dont know man so many options, i geuss ill give it some thought i have time till 3rd gen ryzen gets teleased anyway
  14. Hmm im looking at the logiteck x56 now, seems like a good hotas, t16000 is goos option if ur low on budget. But still the warthog seems so cool ya know, can u remove its spring with relative ease maybe?
  15. Hey all, im planning to buy a pc when 3rd gen ryzen and navi comes out, and at first i thought ill buy a thrustmaster warthog hotas for 360€ but ive seen people complain that the stick is very stiff to fly helos and that the throtle is also very stiff. So can u guys tell me if this hotas is good for helos or not, and can u recomend me an alternative? Budget is +-400€. I wanted a warthog because of its quality and realistic design, so are there others hotas' that also are very good in terms of quality and stuff?
  16. WOW sounds very impressive, good job ed.
  17. Nah this is different since they have the best helo sim r n, but not the best warbirds sim according to the majority on yt comments. Well it doesnt matter cus i dont think developing a warbird is as hard as a modern jet, still if i wanted to fly ww2 planes id go to that other sim (cant remember the name)
  18. Well mi24 has no AI so thats why their making one, and yes they want an AI like jester in f14 which can do alot of 'dcs functions' but they said it will take alot lf time :(
  19. Their working on the mi 24 AI https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3867972&postcount=1767 Roughly translated: Were trying to make a good copilot which is gonna take a long time and will have to go trough mass testing because he will need to be able to perform alot of functions of dcs, when theres something to show then we will show.
  20. Ye i know They could atleast have not made warbirds tho, trying to tap into every genre
  21. It cant be much longer now if only they would 'fix 'their priorities.
  22. Heeey ur from Brussels hahah ik ben ook in Belgie :)
  23. Quote: even 2020 seems to be too optimistic... End quote Dagnabit man :(
  24. Whats the general opinion on the release date? 2019 or 2020¿¿
  25. Lol why all this vr talk, op didnt mention he has vr neither do i so ill stay out of that water. To the op dcs does use alot of cpu even 6 cores get +- maxed out when looking at a city and because it does use cpu that much u need to feed it properly, avoid bottlenecking ur cpu by ur ram like on my shitty laptop :) Other games tho usually dont use ur cpu that much. Honestly ur question was if ur cpu would support that ram kit and yes it does, this all got out of hand. But maybe now u want a faster kit? Well if u dont really know much about ocing ur ram then i geuss you willl have to buy a more expensive kit, but u will still have to go into bios even if u buy a 3200mhz kit or something.
