Yeah z390 does allow ocing memory even with a locked cpu. 2x16gb or 4x8gb? There is a teeny tiny performance increase by going with 4 sticks because of rank interleaving. But this is not worth it if 4x8gb costs more than 2x16gb. So go with the cheaper option. 3200mhz cl14 or 3600mhz cl16? Well u have an intel cpu, u will see almost no scaling with memory speed. So just go for the cheaper option once again.

Just like u guys, im also hoping for normal pascal prices, which in turn dont seem normal for some pc veterans. But this time nvidia might think diferrently about their pricing with the 'nvidia killer' card from amd. Im also interested in ray tracing, turing doesnt quite cut it, fps wise. The next gen gpus will be really interesting this time along.

poor guy OP. I5 9600KF will have a bit higher single threaded perf and it can be oced. so very goood. R5 3600 has SMT (12 threads) and has better multithread perf but the AM4 socket that R5 3600 uses will get ryzen 4000 support, so thats an advatage aswell. u should decide for urself which is the way to go. either way i dont think u will regret it. Now for the gpus. a 5700XT is faster than the 2060s and 2070, but a minority of people are indeed still having drivers issues. i really dont want to tell u my opinion buuut the 5700XT is faster sooo :( . sry u decide for urself xD

Oh yeah i tottaly forgot. There is a new and much better looking cockpit available but only on the open beta of dcs. I havent had any big issues with the open beta so i recommend u to play on the open beta. The new cockpit is much better imo. U can download the open beta on dcs site. It will use a lot of the files that the stable version uses so u wont have to download too much.

I can request ground power without spu 9 intercomm panel set to ground crew and with the door closed. If i remember correctly in dcs 2.5.5 this was not possible, i had to put spu 9 intercomm to ground crew. Even with all baterries off, everything off and door closed i can still request ground power. Please look into it.

Ur exactly right skatezilla. Many of my pc gamer friends who dont know mich about pc hardware are only considering intel and nvidia, even though they dont know anything about intel, nvidia or cpu's and gpu's in general. And yet they want intel amd nvidia! Its really crazy. And when i try to explain them they think im ignorant xD. I really hope rdna 2 is a good card, maybe then my friends will think otherwise. But rdna 2 is defenitelly gonna beat the 2080ti, thats what i believe.

A 5% increase in fps on a monitor? I doubt it. When i tried that certain game way back on opengl it was horrible. Low gpu utilisation. Im certain if i were to try again with vulkan itde be much much better. Even for nvidia cards it should be mich better.

They will surpass a 2080ti with ease. xD i know that sounds like fanboyism but its not. Think about ps5 has 2.23ghz clockspeed and said that it can go even faster than that if it were not limited by the console power limit. And we know that they will go past 64 CU's. And amd said rdna 2 has an IPC gain and another 50% improvement in power to performance. But rdna 2 is not going to compete with the 2080ti, its going to compete with the 3080ti. If amd's top card beats the 3080ti then nvidia will probably release a 3090 xD. Greedy nvidia.

I doubt they will do that tho, 2 gpus 1 pcb i mean. But still rdna 2 with 1 gpu is still looking to be a monster graphics card

I think RDNA 2 will be my next choiche. Hopefully vulkan will eventually be the standard.

Rtx 2070 super? Are you really willing to buy a card that is on average only 4% faster than the rx 5700xt which costs only 400$? Seems kinda wild to me xD. But maybe u need ray tracing or something xD. Edit: source is hardware unboxed on youtube. Actually 2070 super was only 2% faster than the 5700xt, but when u remove forza horizon which performs really wel on amd cards then it becomes 4%. I believe 4% is more accurate than 2% so i said 4%. Btw i have a 5700xt but im not being biased here. Its straight up facts.

Its not really milking its just that intel cant do any better at this time. 10nm was a failure and the 10nm that we are getting from intel is not the same anymore. Dcs indeed doesnt use many cores but extra cores are always nice to have. But its true this 10th gen is 9th gen with another core or two. I wonder is the IPC exactly the same or is there atleast a minor increase, cus at this rate intel will lose its only advantage which is single threaded performance. Since 3rd gen zen is leaked to have an UPTO 15% increase in IPC. Single threaded perf is very important to me but i cant pay 75% more money for 10% or so perf in single thread. Thats comparing the r5 3600 that i have and a i7 8700k.

Like i said, its been said on wccftech (i think it was wccftech) that the nda drops the 30th of april. Its not too long now. I would defenitelly wait.
