helped me a lot, but I have to say what happened next, I managed to get that sick media crew out then fly away like a drunk bug, find my way home, get into a nice descent to farp madrid and then 30 secs before touchdown I receive a message : MI-24 WAS DESTROYED, MISSION FAILED!!! and bang, debriefing:eek:. I'm quite in shock, I deserved to land my chopper.. Really I do...:Flush:

Hi, I'm currently in the UN pilot campaign mission where you have to drop off some media crew at kolkhi and benito says I have to contact tower before landing. ( I landed without calling tower but nothing happened) I set the right frequency on the VHF com, but I can only display UHF in my radio menu. It's on VHF FM that you contact tower, right? What's the button to display the correct radio to call the tower? Thanks for your help, sorry to ask silly questions ;)

Had to shutdown the engine in order to complete the mission if I remember well.

Interresting :) Thanks for the quick answer. But info on range here is a bit basic. For example they say tunguska's range is 8 Km. But you can safely fly 7000m above him without beeing bothered. Any more detailed documents on sam envelope ?

Hi there, I'm trying to find some info about the range of the different sam systems we have in DCS. My idea is to know what kind of air defence I can bomb in ccrp with guided bombs, and how high I have to be. Had some good results on iglas, shilkas, tunguskas, but is it possible to get heavier systems just staying above their range ? If anyone knows, I'd like to see some comparison charts of sam systems and their range envelope.. if it exists, please :yay: Neffertitties.

Hi, I think you should probably install dcs world and update it before re-installing dcs a-10 but I might be wrong.
