probably already found this, but 1. make sure 'retain screen position (or something similar) is checked in windows settings / display or display / multiple monitors 2. you have to create a monitor profile in you SavedGames/DCS/Config folder. make sure you change the name: (' name of profile here ') 3. after launching DCS, go to the Settings screen (before flying or anything else). near the top left there is a drop down, pic the file you named from #2. copy one that is there and use it as a template. There's a lot of good tutorials on YOUTUBE. I wrote this from memory so hopefully it's close enough to figure out :).

I am running 3 monitors. Center: 3440x1440, left/right 2560x1440. I created a monitor profile for my 3 MFDs and it works fine. 1. what file controls where this screen is displayed (see attached pic). ? 2. Another problem is: game display does not cover all 3 monitors. Even if I set the overall width higher. There is a bit less than 1/4 of the right monitor is black (far right edge).. Thanks, Dave

I am having same issue in FA-18. Centering view is not completely centered. Not a left/right camera issue. It is a slight POV angle it seems.

Hello Flyers.... I should have thought of this sooner. I think it fixed my problem. There's a 'power' setting in windows that --- even in High performance mode, is set to 'save power'... It is the USB ports. See pic. It defaults to 'enabled'.... Please set this and other power saving options, such as sleep, hard drive turn off, etc. to disabled.

I see from post that this keyboard bug has happened before... however, as soon as I updated to 2.8.1.x667 I am experiencing same issue. all modules. random commands, etc. happening. Totally unplayable. I am rolling back to version 2.7.18.30765release. Win 11 - Insiders Ed. latest update

I am having similar issues. With all aircraft and terrains I've tested. The keyboard stops working. Also, have aircraft system failures within 2 minutes of starting, so I can't play DCS.... Tried different ports, etc. No luck. DCS Version 2.8.xxx Everything was working fine a week or so ago.... Not sure what changed.

I have the f-18 set to start from 'parking hot'. there are no failures set. However, I'm getting Left Eng GEN every time I start taxiing to the runway. This mission DID work. Not sure what changed.

I keep getting failures in a created mission. I have NO Failures set active in the mission editor. Makes the mission unplayable. Seems to always occur during taxi to runway.

Hey fellow pilots.... I understand being frustrated by the delays. However, ED is doing their best to release a product that they are proud of and that 'us' the users enjoy. Too often in today's development (agile) world, everyone focuses on the date as the most important part. If software is not ready, it shouldn't be release just because a date was decided on. Anyway, my 2 cents :). Happy flying... I also am very excited to use the SC.

@ Draconus: Thanks for the quick reply... fixed the screen problem. --> options.lua: For some reason, the "multiMonitorSetup" said I was running 3 monitors, but the screen size was set to size of 1. Set this value to "1camera".

Hello, Is there an SDK or programming guide available? My 2.5.5 works fine, but the OpenBeta 2.5.6 opens on a 'vertical narrow band' in the middle of the monitor. The sides of the GUI are black. (no video display). Also asking about SDK to look into creating a mod or two.

Does anyone have the 'dogfight boss' plans for the FA-18 cockpit? I had them on my hard drive and now can't locate them... must have got deleted.. thanks,
