  1. ... Again please be polite, thank you! I think Enzo is lieing or telling the truth, misremembering i think it's not probable. He was an active pilot when he was speaking in the podcast and i think it's impossibile misremembering something he claimed he has done at least several times. You don't know him too. This might be a good explanation
  2. Maybe, but keep in mind Lieutenant Colonel Lorenz “Enzo” Schaffelhofer was over Baltics sea in a very cold day: this means mach 1 is at lower TAS, engines give more thrust thanks to the fact air is more dense at low temperature. Look at the difference between +20° C and -20°C on the graph below. That said, i understand 5 seconds are still unrealistic but i'm going on to ask to my self why to say such a lie. F16 at -20°C and low fuel need about 15 seconds to go from 200 knots to mach 1 at -20°C, Eurofighter maybe can do it in 13 seconds, still far from 5 seconds but impressive: Be polite please, i didn't offend you nor anybody.
  3. Never told 5 seconds for the Tomcat. Lieutenant Colonel Lorenz “Enzo” Schaffelhofer, during a podcast, claimed 5 seconds for his Eurofighter.
  4. Hi Gero! German Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Lorenz “Enzo” Schaffelhofer, during a podcast, claimed Eurofighter can accelerate to Mach 1 from 200 knots in less then 5 seconds, low altitude during a very cold day over Baltic sea. Do you ever had a similar experience? Thank a lot! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fX6u558JbI&t=2780s
  5. I really don't know, Enzo seems so sure in the podcast: he has no exitation, the interviewer ask him "5 second?!?!" and he confirms. I really don't understand why he is not telling the truth. It's really difficult to think that people who is doing a very important duty is lieing. Enzo had also the opportunity to tell "i can't answer", so why to tell a lie?
  6. Ok, try to explain to Enzo and Tom that what they have done is not real.
  7. Wait... wait, who am i? I forgot everything :))))))))))))))))
  8. Here is the podcast https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fX6u558JbI&t=2780s
  9. German Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Lorenz “Enzo” Schaffelhofer, during a podcast, claimed Eurofighter can accelerate to Mach 1 from 200 knots in less then 5 seconds, low altitude during a very cold day over Baltic sea. I really doubt Enzo was misremembering. So i think Tom "Trots" Trotter probably is telling the truth, his F14D was in clean config, without tanks or any other payload.
  10. I have done my tests at 0° celsius and F14 performs a bit better giving me the chance to out turn the F18, the behavior is different from that at 20°C, at 20°C the F18 is still almost unbeatable, so no placebo my friend
  11. Are you talking about me? If yes i must say there is no placebo effect at all, now i'm able to out turn the F18, with the old FM it was simply impossibile. Or maybe the placebo effect made me a better virtual pilot, who knows? I' ve also seen that the cat consumes less fuel in full AB. Last but not least now i can chase my opponent due to fact the plane accelerate better. And i must repeat i'm happy about all this
  12. Finally, after more than 2 years, i can say that i feel all the GE F110's power. The F14B accelerates very well and is able to regain energy quickly, very happy about all this. This was not a marginal changement respect to the last FM, imho it seems to me a huge changement. On the other hand the realistic buffet option makes the plane totally different in ITR repect to the standard setting. Maybe be i'm missing something and i have to do the necesary training, but even over 300 kias at low altitude with AoA no more than 20 units several times i have a strong wing rock effect. I also put very much attention to avoid lateral inputs, using only rudder.
  13. Is the B new FM coming next 12th April?
  14. I'm very happy about MT and i also wrote HB, you all, has done a very good job with performance, then i asked about F14 roll. So totally no fight from my side and, after Fat Creason answer, all was ok. So please, and this is not the first time i ask you, say to frosty2124 to be costructive or to stay quiet, thank you, otherwise i'll answer, because he started to be polemic, as already happened too many times in the recent past, and if you let him to be polemic it could mean you agree with his behaving Thank you
  15. ...and just to be clear, HB wrote they would had open an official discussion yesterday. But they didn't, so it's normal that people are asking questions, so don't complain as usual.
  16. You spend really much time writing stuff to saying nothing or to be polemic When you will understand it's much better you stay quiet?
  17. Thank you a lot Unuseful as always, Fat Creason has already answered, didn't you read?
  18. And you can be kind and explain better...
  19. The oscillation is really big and i think 15-20 AoA unit is not that much for the F14 with SAS switched on flying at 300 ias, disabling SAS it's like flying an earthquake
  20. My first impression about F14B with MT: very good job with performance, now the Cat accelerates well even near mach 1. I have found a very annoyng issue : the Cat rolls like crazy even on the deck at 300 IAS while pulling 15-20 AoA units, very difficult to control
  21. It's enough to use lower graphics settings
  22. Because you are gpu limited and mt works for cpu only
