  1. Hey, i have been practicing weapon deployment via tables and sight depression. What i want to know is, is there some way to plan them out? Mainly i'd like to know how far you have to be from the target and the altitude so i can get the angle right when i roll in.
  2. So been trying to work out level flying. I have seen many saying to trim as close as you can get it and then use small throttle inputs to fine tune. It's quite hard to even get anywhere close because it just wants to start going the other direction rather quickly. The few times i have done it and tried to use throttle, it requires way too much throttle to work. I have found the trim amount to be fine, just confused as to how i stay level.

  4. I have noticed recently that no small buildings, vegetation or trees appear in a ~5nm range. I have found this persists in 4 different maps. I noticed that when just by myself with no mission, I am getting about 10 out of 12gb of VRAM usage, I can only assume its the sim trying to save more VRAM. anyone know what I could try? Example from Normandy attached. unknown_2023.12.05-19.01 - Trim.mp4
  5. Hi, i am currently practicing VFR break landings in the F-18. I am following the rule that during the break, the G's should be 1% of airspeed (3.5 G's for 350 knots). It always makes me end up around 0.8nm from the airport, which causes me to always overshoot the runway on the final turn. Is there a better way to do the break?
  6. It does annoy me how much some people obsess over how many of a weapon you can carry. Using the weapons is fun but it is not really important at the end of the day because there are already quite a few available.
  7. Here are the 2 files. The memory test found no results, and these were the results from command prompt: AllocatedBaseSize=16384 CurrentUsage=11 Description=C:\pagefile.sys InstallDate=20200807201326.444486+600 Name=C:\pagefile.sys PeakUsage=33 Status= TempPageFile=FALSE
  8. Recently, i have this problem where after about 10 minutes the screen will freeze, however the game is clearly still running. I can hear the audio (whenever i press the buttons to change views i can hear the difference) and i can see the cursor clearly change as i move around the cockpit. It usually freezes on the game, however it recently froze and proceeded to show my desktop. Have never seen anything like this. Some specs: CPU: AMD Athlon X4 860K GPU: GTX 1060 6GB (Drivers are up to date) Motherboard: MSI A78M-E35 V2 RAM: 8GB I understand these specs are pretty poor but i have run DCS like this pretty well for a year now.
  9. Thank you, however the decals for the F-86 provided are too small and low quality, is there something else I must do here?
  10. Hello, i have been making skins for a while now and i am wondering how to get certain decals, for example the ones on this: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Royal_Australian_Air_Force_VH-IPN_CAC_Sabre_(modified).jpg. Are there certain resources to find them or better ways to search for them? Do they also have to be created from scratch? and if so, what is a good way to go about doing it?
  11. Hello, unfortunately none of your suggestions worked, I have attached my log file here. This started around the time I tried to used OVGME, however I have no way of deleting the mod files from the core install and repair and clean do not work. I have also tried to reinstall but to no avail. I hope this helps dcs.zip
  12. For a few days I have been unable to use DCS with FC3 as it shows this message on launch: "The application module F15.dll has been modified. It may be damaged or infected by a virus. Scan your computer for viruses and reinstall the application." The only way I can use DCS is to uninstall FC3 using DCS Updater Utility. Help would be very much appreciated.
  13. I was just wondering if there were any flyable helicopter mods that do not require the KA-50 module (FC3 preferably).
  14. This looks absolutely amazing, i cannot wait to take her for a spin.:)
