Next DCS (US) Fixed Wing Aircraft Wish List
Tronjer replied to diecastbg's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Modern conflicts are about asymmetric warfare, not dogfights. Hence I prefer another slowpoke for CAS purpose, like AH-64 - which could fly along the A-10C on a virtual Afghanistan battlefield. -
Landing mission not fixed with patch update, or is it just me? Still get Lua errors while trying to load.
-
Can someone who already got the patch post the change log please?
-
Speed will drop like a rock once our friends from across the pond wake up. :D btw. is there a patch note/log already?

You might use his board account for the purchase. Payment details are not visible.

Altogether I welcome the new training, which is superior to what got delivered with KA 50. However, my problem about these missions is, that if one doesn't follow meticulously the assigned tasks (i.e. not holding required altitude while performing a flight maneuver), the tutorial simply interrupts and there is no way of bringing back previous instructions. I either want a function to browse back and forth through text windows or, if this would require too much work, at least a .pdf version of training missions.

Might be even a treat. :music_whistling:

Interesting to know that MemphisBelle obviously got considerable better performance on his DualCore @3,1, compared to my QuadCore @2,33, even we both utilize a Radeon 5770 (1 GB). So I'd suppose it's rather a CPU issue. Anyway, I'll wait for the release version before considering upgrades. After all the A-10C runs smooth enough already if I refrain from enabling TGP.

I got a Q8200 (4 x 2,33 Ghz), 4 Gig Ram, Ati 5770 (1 GB), and for the most part the performance of A-10C is about on par with KA 50. Can play at 1900 x 1200 with all the bells and whistles on. However, once I enable TGP and select my Mav's, FPS drop like a rock - in particular over dense areas.

Iraq/Afghanistan to reenact recent conflicts and maybe Israel/Iran for a future scenario. However, Afghanistan is my favorite. I would be willing to pay for such an expansion.

German bank accounts comes with a debit card which get accepted everywhere in this country, while on the other hand many vendors here turn down credit cards due to payment fees. Of course, one can acquire rather pricey things with a cc, but you might be out of luck for everyday purchases, like a haircut or groceries. Add to this that Paypal has established as a common payment option for digital distributions. My VISA got issued 3 years ago and I deployed it for the very first time now. Almost forgot that I still own one.

For some reasons I struggle with the mission editor. What I want to do achieve is: building a simple mision with 4 waypoints and my A10 C starting from parking, with status cold and dark. So I get the whole startup procedure to accomplish. I opened mission editor, selected object->aircrafts and "take off from parking." However, after saving and subsequently loading this mission, I saw my A10 C at external view but couldn't get into the cockpit (F1 didn't work). Could someone point my into the right direction, about how to work with the editor, please?

Saitek X-52 or Thrustmaster Cougar?
Tronjer replied to dane48's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
X52 has a pretty good price-performance-ratio. Using mine for two years now and will stick with it, until I can afford something like the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS. -
Mission description tells something about battlefield commander mode. Does that mean one can use the map as some kind of strategic layer, to command combined forces for a common strike?
