  1. As it turns out it was not a port or firewall issue. Even after I had completed a fresh install on our remote server it was still using an old "Server" account to do auto login. This is what I was taking notice of "has to be logged in into your DCS account on the DCS homepage." (tunnel vision) Should have picked up on this earlier. Thanks for all the help.
  2. Using both --server --norender server router is inaccessible but is dmz I believe as it sits on a 1Gb up/down trunk line at a friends ISP in a central US state. I did create some inbound rules for 8088 in Windows Firewall. TCP & UDP And local Router 8088 in/out TCP & UDP
  3. I can't get remote control to our server to work. The remote server is logged on to DCS Home page with the same account as my local PC which also logged on and viewing the "Server" page but there is nothing in the "My Server" tab. Our Server shows up in the "All Servers" tab and is accessible to clients. Local Web control works fine but doing this through "TeamViewer" is cumbersome as I have a 260mS ping time to the remote server. I have no idea why its not showing up or accessible via my local WebGUI. What am I missing....... ?
  4. Yes please. It will make my life easier.
  5. Compelling info. I must ask what prompted you to post this ? Which questions will it answer ? I use a Hog stick, don't use Target for DCS but it is usually installed, without any problems.
  6. I changed my "Normal Zoom" , but now cant find / remember which file. Sorry , still looking.
  7. No, OS on one SSD, Games/Apps on another is a good way to go.
  8. Why the heck can't we make a save part way or at the end of a mission. This function in part was available in Lomac 15yr's ago. Don't tell me the devs arn't smart enough !
  9. I don' think felt has the tensile strength required here. Yes its a common bearing material, and have used it myself a few times. Leather is the way next strip-down.
  10. This is the second time I have repaired/rebuilt the "Friction" brake shoes. The first time the rubber feet, friction pads, had worn through and fallen detached from the spring loaded plunger/push-rod. Bits of rubber and parts of the pads lay scattered over the throttle base plate. As well as a lot of plastic dust from the plastic on plastic action. The top of the shoes should be flat & the "drum" has lost a few mm of radius. There are two of these, one for each throttle lever. Last time I used layers of industrial quality PVC coated cloth adhesives tape. It lasted longer then I thought it would. The original friction pads were injection molded to the ends of the push rods, attachment was always to be the problem. This time I risked drilling the feet and fitting "attachment screws" Tough ridged thermo plastic can be brittle. The screws had to bit enough to form a reliable thread while not applying to much "expansive" force causing the "shoe" structure to shatter. So far it works, this time I used a semi flexible plastic material about 1 mill in thickness. The other option is the classic leather. used for millennium in such applications. Sorry I forgot to take photos as I was doing final assembly, trying to hold to many floating bits and use a screw driver.
  11. Export is done by your custom "Monitor. lua" file in /Config/MonitorSetup. Hear it defines your monitor layout and the exports you want displayed together with their position and sizes. And with reference to the top left of the combo. Use "Notepad ++" to edit or create these files.
  12. Label "opacity" is broken since last patch, its is nonfunctional. Has been noted yet ?
  13. Your first post was off, "Saved Games/.........View/ Lables.lua" is being read OK . And how do you mod something when its broken ? I don't think the problem is in "Lables.lau" except for a few new lines: PointFormat = { [100000] = {"%N%n%D", "LeftBottom"}, } Thanks for trying.
  14. INS needs to be spun up with a waypoint in the system having the same geo position as the Bullseye. Thus a separate flight or awacks have a common reference point. If GPS was refined as well as it today it might not need to be so. I move the bullseye to a waypoint, not the other way round. Home plate for example.
  15. Opacity is definitely not responding to lables.lua parameters. Color blend is OK. Esac your not on the right page there.
  16. Four 8Gig sticks @ 3200 ? , timings might be a bit tight. Populating all dimms can be problematic.
  17. Being slightly older now & running 2560x1440 with failing eyes I have been using my own version of "Dot only". I was happy, it faded in and faded out when closer, colour_blending_k I adjusted to keep me guessing till I could see the tracers coming up. It wasn't to obvious either and I often lose sight of vehicles & Air targets. So after the patch they now stands out like dogs balls. My modded "lables.lua" remains unchanged in the games folder. Where else would the impact be coming from ? :helpsmilie:
  18. I'm seeing better FPS on a Ryzen 1600 + ATI/AMD RX 480 after this last patch. But you don' t test in the menu. use a TE or training mission to be consistent.
  19. Enjoyed watching, good laughs, informative. It would be nice if you guys had the time to set stick/throttle as close as you can to real or as you feel would be acceptably. Respects ...Shad
  20. Thanks friend, got it all in memory now, re-watching mini-updates helps. Shad
  21. Thanks for the response. Can this be done in the editor or only in pit ?
  22. Bulls Eye where ? So we did the latest update, and still cant find the bullseye. I set landing SP as B. E. We must be referencing the other end of the bull ?
  23. It is still not a true IR display.
  24. I just noticed this myself today. I doubt this is the intended or correct function.
