  1. Well said sir. I my self have a couple too many modules. I have 3 war birds gathering dust. A Hornet that sorely needs some attention. A M2000 that I have given up on for now (not getting into that). A F-16 I'm trying to stay current in & a Tomcat that I'm still learning & loving it. Just not enough time to fly them all & get even close to proficient. So having too many modules isn't always great $$. Quality modules with great content. Yes Please! :D
  2. I think if you have one of these you should get it for free. ;) :music_whistling: :pilotfly:
  3. & this is done how? Please. Thanks for the information.
  4. Worked great was loads of fun. Now its been changed. Why ? That was one of my favorite thing about the F-16. I've just had months of negative training.
  5. Good onya mate thanks. So the ,STL was a typo & Was meant to be .STM? Thanks again
  6. Ok dumb Questions What is a .stm file ? There is no .STL in the download SyADF2012.zip I know the .miz is a mission file SyADF2012.miz SyADF2012.stm ?? Which one is the template file that goes into ? /saved games/dcs/StaticTemplate/
  7. Ok dumb Questions What is a .stm file ? I know the .miz is a mission file SyADF2012.miz SyADF2012.stm ?? Which one is the template file that goes into ? /saved games/dcs/StaticTemplate/ I don't have a .STL in the download SyADF2012.zip
  8. Struth mate! You placed 900 units by hand :notworthy: Legend effort.:thumbsup:
  9. How do you load the templates? I can not find the folder to put them in. Cheers EDIT: I think I found the answer Need to learn to read :book:  .MIZ files goes onto /saved games/dcs/missions/ .STL files goes onto /saved games/dcs/StaticTemplate/ if the missions and StaticTemplate folders don't exist, create them using windows file management. Chime in if I am wrong.
  10. +100 :worthy: absolutely amazing work guys. Credit where credit is due. Defiantly the best map so fare :imho: Congats Ugra Media & ED The bar has been raised.
  11. Don't go off ED's house stuff its an advertisement & is meant to look as good as it gets. absolutely stunning & amazing. :surprise: But for us mere mortals our with the middle of the road gaming pc's I run i7 8700K @ Stock - Win10 64 - 32 RAM - RTX 2060 Its always a compromise between eye candy & FPS. For me its pretty good for the most part. There are just a few areas the need a bit of a tickle to get working better. & its not where you think its in the desert where there is nothing.
  12. This issue going back awhile now I just got jack of having to rebind all of my controls after every update. I have already started at least two other threads regarding the same issue.
  13. Thanks  Ill have a look. Didn't Know that the number of commands had changed. But its not just the f-16 I'm having issues with Its all of them. I just used my F-16 bindings as an example.
  14. Try not too HA Pigs arse. You have been dismissive and condescending from the 1st time I tried to report this a couple of months ago. You have done nothing to help you have just made it harder. :wallbash: The community nor the forum need people like you. Its this sort of insipid behavior :puke: that drives people away from the hobby & the forum.
  15. It runs pretty good for me a pretty constant 40-50 fps. I found a couple of glitch areas in the desert E & SA to Damascus. Anything below 1700 feet I was getting a massive frame rate drop & it would start to stutter. This surprised me because there was nothing there except desert terrain. It was like it was trying to load a massive amount of polys. But my graphics card load dropped from 98% to 65% & the map is a RAM pig like 25-28GB of RAM.
  16. Maybe I would get pissed if your were NOT dismissive & condescending. So now you admit it dose mess with your controls. :glare: I just want too be clear. I DID NOT BIND THE CONTROLS SHOWN IN POSTS 1& 2. This is what the update dose to the .diff.lua file IT BREAKS IT! Why would I bind my controls in a way shown in post 2 & 3? & expect a favorable result. You still haven't explained to me how I misusing the tools at your disposal ?? :noexpression: I have also been playing DCS on & off since the Lockon days. But I do not dedicate all of my waking hours to it. & yes there can be somethin done about it. Its a bug & ED can work on squashing it. :bash: Backing up my control bindings (.diff.lua file) is pointless because they are no longer compatible after an update. This also happens with stable. This may not be happening to every one BUT its happening. :wallbash::wallbash:

  18. Did you check out the #1.1 or #1 file? DCS did exactly what you asked for.?????? Really! :wallbash: No it did not this is the whole point of this. what you looked at is what I get after the update same as the screen shots. A BROKEN FILE! So what are you saying? Am I just making this up?? There are other people with the same issue. See posts 11, 14 & 15. You said I'm pretty convinced you're misusing the tools at your disposal. Please tell me how I'm doing that. The thing that amazes you most is how my bindings get wiped out when I update the game. Well be amazed because that is exactly what is happening. I don't try & make bug reports for fun I find this to be a tedious chore because most of the time I'm just :wallbash: But it is an on going issue that is becoming frustrating beyond belief & it needs to be rectified. I would much rather be enjoying my DCS. Instead of this rubbish. :wallbash:
  19. Umm you have totally missed the point This is not a quality of life gripe mate. Its on going issue my controls worked before the update they didn't after. Go & read the post on page one.
  20. I don't know what you mean? What dose renaming them got to do with anything? They are just .diff files F-16.diff F-18.diff F-14.diff. Elma Fudd's f-5.diff. ect: So really ED never need to touch?
  21. I make copies also but they are not compatible after an update.
  22. Please keep speaking up guys. Maybe ED will take notice I have been banging on about this for months & getting no where.
  23. Thanks for coming forward mate. I just wish there were more people that would speak up.
  24. But that's what is happening. The .diff file is not compatible with the updated version. It is like The aircraft is a new module. You have to go through & bind all of the controls.
