Please release this weekend. My wife just found out I was looking at this form and called the credit card companies to cancel all our cards, they said they would have that completed by the 23rd .... so that only gives me until Friday to order. I asked her why they said not until 23rd , why the backlog, normally they can stop them when you call. She said they lady told her they were back logged, had 100000000's of calls from wives just like her trying to stop their husbands from buying some airplane game on the interent. Please don't cause me a divorce, release while I still have time. :-0

I like the idea of open beta pre release. 99% of games are being released way to early now and patched later. Games are not usually playable for months sometimes a year after patching. I think this will be the route more and more devs take going forward. ED is ahead of the curve in this and I like the way they do business. I'd suggest making people sign a pre-download waiver though upon downloading beta that they understand this is pre-release and beta testing. A bug free product should not be expected and it's possible this beta may not initially run on your machine specs. This should help to cut down on the ignorant people who buy, pre-download, play with the expectation of a finished bug free game and then complain about the state of the software.

We're not there yet :( But yes thanks for the update anyway. Wags and group ... you are one of the few software companies that stay active with their community long after the products have been released. That alone is worth the price of the software and I will continue to support that model. Thank you for that.

I've managed to fix this. Had to copy the Input folder from my windows profile directory not the game directory itself. Once copied in to DCS World it is working now, wow what an effort! 1) Go to c:\windows\users\(you)\Saved Games\DCS Warthog\Config\ 2) Had two folder under saved games DCS and DCS Warthog, appears the DCS one in the DCS world 3) Copy the input folder from DCS Warthog to DCS In a prior post this is what Daze recommended, however, I was using the game install path instead of the users\saved games path.

Something happened because when I replied to you there were no other responses to this thread. Mine was the second post, now it appears there are 6 pages of responses.

Something else I just noticed, but I can't even edit manually the saitek column for commands like m, c, v - the lines are highlight in bright red. Cleared all the columns and reloaded but still no joy, it's as if everything is locked out on the config page. Anyone else have rows highlighted in red?

If I load the same .lua file in the original dcs a10c all mappings are there. Obviously, I'm either doing someting wrong or there is a bug in the dcs world. 1) pull up original DCS a10c 2) Goto config, click on saitek x52 column 3) Save As, export as .lua file to L drive 4) Close DCS a10c 5) Add .lua to the end of the file in windows explorer 6) Open DCS world 7) Goto config, click on Saitek x52 column 8) Point to my L drive and load the profile 9) - profile not correct ??? 7)

Thanks I've tried this save the profile from the original dcs a10c to the l drive, did not show up in DCS world to load until I added the .lua as you mentioned above. It will load and there are some mappings for some views for the x52 but all other mappings are missing.

I guess I'll have to remapp all my controls again, this is the part of DCS a10c that would keep me from playing for months on end. It literally takes hours for me to find the right "SIM" commands and map them to the joystick button I want. Not to mention you have to exit the sim and go back to the main menu/config everytime you want to change/tweak something. I dread messing with controls for this SIM.

No I have not used the joysticks software (sst) to build the profile. Set the options directly through DCS options menu.

I can't seem to figure out how to get my x52 profile out of DCS a10c and into DCS World. I've went in to A10c Sim and saved profile as then went in to DCS World and loaded the profile and although it loads something it's not my profile. How can I make this simple transition please?

I did yes and thank you. I'm in a monogamous relationship with my A10-C right now so not having a Helicopter to fly is OK by me. She gets a little jelous when I look at other aircraft anyway.

Sorry the sticky above was not very clear on upgrade path and after searching several pages I don't see my answer. I own DCS a10-c and Blackshark 1, do I download DCS world and install seperate from DCS a10c? I assume DCS world will be required for Combined Arms?

Because of this I will quit my job and never move from my PC. I will never buy another game again as this will consume my life goodbye wife. 1) When is this coming? 2) Is this dynamic so that you could fight an entire war for months until won or lost? (specifically targeted at the single player point of view regarding being dynamic or is it all mission based with x number of units on a map per mission? 3) who is developing this? 4) Other than the sticky above where can we find more info?

Oh yes she thinks it's funny right now, but when I don't come out of the thing for hours on end she won't be laughing anymore :) You can just tell she would like to see nothing more than come home one day to find me laying on the floor entangled in PVC from where it collapsed! Already been told it's a waste of a tv.

Going to try to model it somewhat after the a10c except my MFD's will be in the middle of the console. Decided to try this with PVC and wooden platforms, the plan will be to bring the wood down each side of the pit (left and right) allowing me to build out more controls. Can wait to get it skinned and covered and give a go, still have to get something built to hold the joystick and throttle first. This all started after getting the Thrustmaster MFD's, what an expensive hobby!
