  1. I would have posted in the cost discussion thread on the other page but the thread was closed. I agree price is too much, had it included additional terrain map or something more I would bite just because it looks interesting, but for a single vehicle (yes I know how much work went in to it), I'll pass too or wait for a good sale. I can live without it but honestly at 29.99 I would have bought just out of curiosity and support of additional add ons. Sorry guys it does look nice though.
  2. Thanks got to try something this just is not going to cut it at 6.6kb :pilotfly:
  3. How is anyone even playing this yet? After about 9 hours now I'm literally about 11% done downloading, at 6.6kb's it's going to take weeks? Comon guys what's the secret to getting this downloaded please?
  4. thanks .... I'm with you on that part, but i'm talking about when designating a mark point with tgp as soi. in training mission i was in mark mode and each designation would automatically change the hud markpoint cue indicator to the next markpoint letter. tms right hud auto switch to mark b tms right hud auto switch to mark c and so on in campaign first mission the hud never chanes after desination, but as you all indicated my cdu was changing each time. im in mark mode when designating so the question is should the hud also auto switch to the next mark point after a designation?
  5. Sorry guys you were right, just got to test this and it is creating and changing markpoints on the CDU. In the training mission my hud change from mark point A to b then to c and so on, but in the campaign it's changing on the CDU and not the hud so that's what threw me off. Is there anyway to reflect markpoint record success via the hud? Again thanks all and sorry about that.
  6. Cycling the mark points does not change the tgp view, the mark points are not being saved for some reason. In the training mission when I create a mark point, it automatically changes the mark point reading in the hud to b. Every press of TMS right on the warthog saves and changes and moved to the next mark point. And then in training, yes the mark point cycle. Not working in a mission though, it's as if the tms right is non-functinal and not doing anything. I'm sure I don't have something set right but don't know what.
  7. Not sure what you mean but in the controls section look at all command and find leftmfdosbxx and rightmfdosbxx. each MFD has it's own section.
  8. In the training mission it's as easy as set your knob to mark point, on the warthog TMS right, each push of TMS right creates a new markpoint. However, when actually flying a mission repeating this process does not give me a mark point and instead does nothing. Changing the selector knob to markpoint and pressing tms right when I have a target in point track mode does not seem to work. The hud continues to display markpoint A. Any ideas why or what I might be doing wrong?
  9. Try this directory : Your drive\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\A-10C\Input\A-10C\joystick
  10. What is your loadout and weight? The more you carry the slower you will go. Jettison everything and your speed will incrase.
  11. I've tried a couple different profiles both Wags and Yassy (I think it is), but I keep having the same issues where I look up too far or down too far and my ability to look left and right stop because I loose track. I'm using a hat clip, anyone had this problem and can you recommend a solution or is it something you just get used to and learn to restrict your movements?
  12. It's old and some may have already seen it but for us noobs here it is, and it's still amazing no matter how many times you watch it!
  13. Serial: 13899 Baltimore
  14. I do have the trackIR and it took me much longer than most to get used to it. I hated it first but now can't fly without it. I ordered a Warthog just the other day, been wanting one for a while and based off this forums post as well as a couple others I can't find anyone complaining about them, seem the vast majority love them. I agree based off what others have said so far the TrackIR is at the top of the purchase list. The buttkicker is nice too one of those things you get used to and don't realize it's there until it's off though. For those using Helio's and MFD cougar panels, would you change to a touch screen for a 4th or 2nd monitor? I'm expecting that I should never have to touch the keyboard again once I get the Warthog, but to program the CDU I'll still need mouse control for the numbers (posted screen of setup on prior page). Touchscreen vs mouse with MFD Cougar panels? thoughts?
  15. Thanks guys, I've been wanting to get the warthog for a while just could not justify the expense, but the time has come. Besides these blue lights on the saitek simply don't match, that alone is worth the added expense! Hamblue thanks for those pictures.
  16. Curious to know from other Warthog owners, is owning a Warthog as much of an imporvement to the game as TrackIr is? Would you buy the Warthog again if you already owned something like an X52?
  17. your not running the latest game version most likley, I did this too. It will require you download and install minimum of version 1.2.2.7122. Looking around the cockpit is done with the number keys on your numberpad of the keyboard, 12346789, 5 to center.
  18. It was the second for me, but not having kept up with DCS news in a long time I had no idea who the heck Gadroc was and it looked just like another I'm having problems with Helios thread.
  19. thank you!
  20. I can't find a download link or link anywhere that points to this application. Did a google search helios dcs and still nothing? How do you download or find out more about this program?
  21. Thank you. I noticed there were some changes from the first page, I did read through about 12 pages trying to find the answer but did not read through all 42. Again appreciate the quick link and your work on this!
  22. I can't seem to get anything but the right and left MFD to show up on monitor 4. I copied and paste the code from the first page into my cdu_int.lua file, then changed the red wording to o vp = env.ed_a10c_cdu. Also updated my monitor config .lua profile to include this viewport but still no cdu, only the left and right MFD's. Anyone see where I made an error? My ingame resolution is set to 4096x768 name = _('test'); Description = 'test'; Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 3072; height = 768; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 4.25; } } LEFT_MFCD = { x = 3115; y = 447; width = 280; height = 285; } RIGHT_MFCD = { x = 3793; y = 445; width = 280; height = 285; } ED_A10C_CDU = { x = 3315; y = 200; width = 100; height = 100; } UIMainView = Viewports.Center
  23. How long we been waiting now....not going to hurt any to wait a few more months - not complaining as I'm very content with what I have currently, Nevada is just a bonus. Thanks for the reply, just wanted to see if anything had changed. Back to the cockpit!
  24. Is the Nevada map still going to be free to those who puchased A10C earlier in Beta?
  25. Thanks for the adivce all and the mission card too PhoenixBVO. Sounds like I'm doing the right things just not spending the time needed to followup through, I did not realize missions can/should last that long. Sven2157 checking out the guide, thanks for the link. I passed on this info to my wife, I told her that the experts on the forum said my missions are not taking long enough, they should last a minimum of an hour. Each of you now have new nicknames :-0
