  1. Visit http://simpitbuildup-tnt.blogspot.com/, its a very crude version... turned out to be good cause it was made with sheer enthusiasm... its not back lit but i was thinking of using diffused UV light to lit them from up above... like they'll glow in the dark... i hope... this costed me about 5 dollars in total...
  2. Really like the way you explained the switching system in your videos... i have made a panel... it looks nice but doesnt work... reason i dont know jack about electrical works... would really appreciate if you couls guide me and answer couple of my dum questions... 1. i have installed toggle switches, but dont know if they are the right one... like usage and Amps n all? 2. the OC card in which the wirs go into, if it is not available in my market, would any expert be able to make it...? Looking foward to hearing from you...
  3. Bucic, i appologize if you think i put you in a cornered position and you had to say what you said. It wasnt the intention at all... since i am eagerly waiting for the final A10 DCS to be released, i was just being curious... hats off to ED for what it has done so far...
  4. its been a long time since i started this thread... the idea was to add animated ground crew in the game... alot of senior members optd YES as you can go through all the pages... I still think it is need if not given in the A10 DCS.... or is it???
  5. Sir is this the card which gives us hundred buttons option???
  6. (2)dont have VGA Small LCD's here... only AV, we can use a converter and turn them into VGA LCD's... is that okay. (3)will i have to merge all screens inorder to get the results by using Triplehead2Go... or same screens setup in all the monitors...? i think the second option will work if i play it in windowed mode...!! but will i have to reduce Main monitor's resolution as of LCD's for smooth running or its ok to have different resolutions...?
  7. TM MFD's + Mini LCD's planning to get myself TM MFD's for A10c Simpit, Later i would be attaching Mini LCD's behind them... i dont know if its the best way to go about it or there is something better... budget is also an issue.... TM MFD's are not that expensive secondly i can get LCD's here for cheaper rates as well... following are my concerns... for which i need your guidance... 1. Is this the right way... if not! what is... 2. If yes... which Brand/model of LCD i should go for (user friendly) 3. Got them... I have Nvidia 8800GT 512 MBRAM, will it support two LCD's other than my main Acer? 4. If yes... there is only one extra port other than one i am already using for my main screen... how can i attach two lcd's...? 5. If gets attached... how it will effect my game... as in will i need to make any changes in the aspect ratio or something... Sorry for being a pain in the arse... would love simple and good awnsers...:helpsmilie:
  8. thanks for the link feed, but you see i am not from around here... and i dont think people around here would know about the card... i would really appreciate if someone could post a picture of the oc card that can serve hundreds of switches on one usb... that would be gr8.... i could easily find it then
  9. please attach an image of an OC card here... the one youre talking about... thanks
  10. Question: How many "BU0836X cards" one can attach at a time..??? :helpsmilie:
  11. can you tell me the configuration of your PC, as in 1. what have you used to connect all three monitors. 2. your system configuration, ram, vga card, processor and stuff... i am kinda planning the same so want to double check things looks good though... you can also mount all the monitors on a curved pipe structure and hang it on the front wall... take off the base supports... will look cool...
  12. okay i didnt know that bout locking lever switches... no wonder i was thinking why the hell is this Master Arm switch so easy to toggle... normally there is a guard or something... i might find a safty guard cover and put it on, it wont remain the original thing but will serve the purpose cause i dont think that i would find the locking levers in Pakistan and some safety should be there... I am not an expert when it comes to second phase of the paneling,e.g. wiring, circuiting an all.... consider me a rookie a layman... i would really appreciate if someone could guide me through it... to give you a brief about my simpit system that for now visually i want to make it as shown above try to make those panels which would commonly be required during all kind of missions... i am planning to get 1. TM Hotas warthog 2. TM MFD's x 2 3. other than this would make panels. initially the first thought that came to my mind was to convert the keyboard into switches but i guess its not that easy... secondly someone over here told me that every game has diff configurations like panels which would work with Flight Sim X would not work with BS or A10Warthog... its not that there's no one here to make things for me.. it just that i dont know enough to tell them what to make... I just need to know what would be the minimum requirement to cover the pointers mentioned above...
  13. I am speechless dude... i am sure if you keep on going like this, soon i'll be seeing a helipad on top of your house or something... this is unreal man...
  14. You are right... i actually have put up the switches in the following manner: top row: 2 x Large - three position Locking lever 2nd row: 2 x Large - 1 three position + 1 two position 3rd row: 3 x small - 1 three position + 2 two position 4th row: 3 x large - 2 two position + 1 three position in the picture posted abpve two from the left in the last row and one in the 3rd row from the left needs to changed, those werent available then...
  15. My first panel buildup. Armament HUD Control Panel Chose this panel because it only has one type of switches, secondly this was my first time so also wanted to practice on something simpler. Used 1/4" thk MDF sheet, first drafted on CAD. Pasted the print out on the base plate, used a hand drill to make holes as required; as you can see they arnt precise nor neat due to the use of hand drill instead of using a floor and table mounted one will be getting that soon though. Mounted another sheet on the base plate which would later make a top sheet, made holes... sand papered it. This was drilled carefully as it had to show on top. Placed switches just to see how it looks... Looks likeits going to be a crude but sturdy one... text plate will be applied on top, hopefully which will give it more panel like look...
  16. Original Parts which i'll be using instead of simulated or actual ones
  17. Looking good mate...i am also building it, i wish i could do the wiring bit on my own... is it easy??
