  2. i would agree with Aces ii but i already have the seat shown, have taken it from an old wrecked rescue heli... i am designing this as such that it can be relocted/removed as quickly as possible... based on original drawings it only takes a space of 4'x4'... so i think its not that huge either...

  4. what happened once that the an avenger was painting my helo ran out of missiles, the LWS kept on warning me even after resetting it... Reason: i was locked even though he had no missles... so that way you will waste your flares...
  5. i think that is the case that you have just mentioned... even if you see in chapter 7 of the manual... i think its on page 4... in the General Guidelines "when approaching the (FEBA) in pt.4. Activate UV-26 automatic flare dispensing program. use a pogram suitable to the suspected air defense types... why it says automatic when the pilot has to do it manually... the 0XX function gives a continuous dispense... hence 99X should give the automatic dispense of self programed function... but as you say its absent...
  6. if you see on the counter measures panel, just below the stop and start buttons you'll see two imprinted lines... 0** continuous 99* autocontr e.g. if you set "0--" value in the start of your counter measure sequence the flares will dispense continuously, similarly if you sequence has "99-" in the beginning it should auto counter when a missile launch is detected... am i right or wrong...? but the sequence only goes up to 8-- in the first column of the sequence setting... any idea...
  7. does Black Shark has Auto Counter Measures system i.e. when warning system detects the missile launch it automatically starts dispensing flares...
  8. IMHO its exactly what the poll is all about... if you read through the discussion, priorities are to be met first then focus on such details... but the poll was "do you need such detail to be implemented after the priorities are met...?"
  9. :thumbup: I am so glad to see that most of us are on the same frequency... and i hope that up coming patches for black shark and maybe in A-10 DCS has this feature, i totally agree to what Poko is saying... its all about how much one is serious about this simulation, one should actually get the realistic factor in dealing with the ground crew may they be the refueling crew or the marshals... that brings out the seriousness... like its no joke... this maybe not that appealing for the pilots who play in Game Mode... but it matters to me... Alot
  10. Absolutely priority should be the flight, avionics, physics etc. first... i think you guys have done a pretty good job in handling all of these above mentioned features... Now we want More :D... Yes details like proper entering and exit of the crew, proper hand positioning... i know it would be tough and whole lot of extra detail/work...feel sorry for those people whose gonna work on it but trust me it wont go waste...:thumbup:
  11. i know its too much to ask but i would love to see ground crew working on BS or up coming A-10 when we give them orders to refuel or reload weapons based on realistic timing... since you guys have given us such a great, detailed simulation one would like it to be more realistic... i know it would deviate from the main purpose of the game but one can always enable/disable that feature if it is provided... like turning on the tip lights should mean something to me that i have to look around if the area is cleared before i turn off the rotor brakes... its a little far fetched but can be possible... "click YES if you think it would make a difference" would like some feedback on this as well...
  12. What if you guys have to make a dcs of classic p51d, that one had a chrome metallic finish, what would you do then, probably you wont touch that canvas... anyways thanx for the feedback...

  17. is anyone using this type of joystick "microsoft sidewinder" if yes... i have this joystick it has force feedback the stick centralizes when played in game mode but gets loose when played in simulation mode... i have to hold it constantly even if the trim is activated or in hover on mode... if anyone is using similar joystick would love to hear your feed back.... thanks
  18. just an idea... if anyone could make a chrome finish skin.. that would be awesome, for example like p51 mustang used to be something similar to this.... anybody good at skin making...
  19. I like the idea that i have to do a previous mission based on my current poor performance, it'll make my skill level better... Having said that, once it demoted me to the bloody first FAM mission when i was currently on the sixth mission of the campaign.. That was really annoying...
