  1. Need screen-shots your system and your in-game settings. Also want to say that I only use HDR-Normal.
  2. >>> http://www.hornbach.at/shop/Klappenstuetze-Lift-Basic-rechts-links-verwendbar-Oeffnungswinkel-80-110-1-Stueck-/7832616/artikel.html Is this enough info?
  3. The search-function of this forum is your friend !... >>>http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=880565#post880565
  4. I don't think that ejected pilots get right into a next cockpit - thy will have first meet the doctor and than have do do a lot of paperwork - I think this can be a little shorter at war-time. But I can't imagine that they will straight go into another pit without having a look in the office at all. :) Whatever- I think the knowing to be picked up and brought back 'home'' should be enough for the moment. BTW - you don't have to reload the mission : Hit [ESC] -> Briefing -> Back -> Select slot - and just imagine you walked to it.
  5. Well - a search engine is your friend. Search term "Gas springs" The feel is very smooth and it has a resistance that it will prevent you from over-reacting , as gas/oil/whatever -springs can only be moved within a certain time amount and their force/resistance is linear. Means : no mater at which position - they always have the same strength. So going from full left to full right can't be done in a fraction of a second. But quick enough for a realistic behaviour of all DCS modules. And no - they are not self centring any-more - but this don't mater because the simulated aircraft tells me how much rudder to use.
  6. 1. Yes- you have to somhow just conect them on the turning axis of the gimbals of your upper FFB mechanism. - be creative! 2. Yes - they should work as normal. - but please make your own tests with two attached sticks ad the same time , as "legacy sims" is a wide spread term. 3. I hope this is sufficient - all lengths are in centimetres (sorry I don't speak in feet , elbows and spoons ;)) 4. I did choose this height because of ergonomic reasons - it just fits perfect for my hight adjustable chair - about cooling - make just sure that you have somewhere small vents so that air can circulate - but the motors and power supply normally never get hotter than 50° Celsius. 5. Used tools: Cutter - to carefully make a opening in the cloth and cutting the foam Jigsaw - to cut out the square in the wooden plate. Hot-glue and some nails with big heads - to reattach the cloth around the opening. Be creative! General question : No, you can use any stick/device you want - the FFB sticks are not connected to the electronics of the stick that is responsible for the Handel at all. The sim just have to get from all involved devices signals at the same time. So yes , it can be done with the warthog.
  7. Thanks , will have a look at it. But don't expect a new beta before next Wednesday. Seems I'm not able to do really much today when I want to make sure that it will work with the newest patch for 1.2.4 . What Zealu wrote ... and editing your TrackIR profile or Do it directly in DCS - please read my annotation that I have made. And read post #1 for better understanding what this mod does when you unsure if you want to do the download , or before posting any questions. Use the attached All planes-modules test.miz for convenient testing. You can start in each aircraft via the briefing menu without having to reload the mission , as they are set-up as client. .
  8. Sorry - no more ideas. Well , did you reinstalled EMC afterwards? -please try.
  9. You have to set up a new default cockpit view that suits you better : Further: about "still able to lean extremely close to front panels and joystick." (above is a quote from a post that is just two posts before yours and the info about snap-views saving is in the post where you got the download)
  10. Does have anyone noticed any bugs/anoyences ? - I use it manly on an not so common screen-setup . so it is calibrated for my purpose and the experience may differ at a diffident FOV/Resolution ? If not, I will upload it to the user-files section in the next days.
  11. The answer is : no,- the F10 map is a relict of lockon and the render-size is as far as I know hard-coded. And up no now no one came up with a solution. no, - only possible way is to use a own monitorsetup profile that has the Center camera at the top - but this is very inconvenient when you switch in a aircraft. no, - SoftTh is again the only solution as it doesn't captures the Desktop - it takes the render directly out of the back-buffer of your card before it is drawn on your screens. To get the overall contend drawn on a Single screen you have to use SoftTH and the Appkey-S function as a workaround.
  12. DCS A10 stand alone isn't compatible with ECM. You need the A-10C module in a DCS-World 1.2.3 and up installation.
  13. BETA 0.4 for 1.2.4 is up Follow this link >>> http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.ph...59#post1743059
  14. Sharing Track IR profiles is a not always a good idea, as the result highly deepens on your used monitors and your position to it and the position of your camera. Much better is to study the various functions and play around with them - than you make sure that you can fix yourself what's annoys you. Please watch this video as a starter to get known to the possibilities.
  15. That's is exactly the kind of info I'm looking for to make myself a better opinion what to edit and/or what I'm missing , thanks! And I'm Already edited it - but keep in mind that I have to open the view-limits a little regarding to what is possible in RL , as the folks that create their own quick-snap views for different panels have still the possibility to do so. So Iit's always a compromise between a strapped-in position and usability for low-res screens (e.g. single 1920x1080). I'm also a user that tends to use smaller limits that have no compromise and reflects your movement of a strapped-in pilot. as I use a T-shape setup and have the available resolution to not have to zoom in at all while having everything readable. ... There is a high possibility that I will add a pre-set that has no compromises at a later stage - but first I try to please everyone.
  16. Thanks Zealu, but *sigh* - I hope you understand ;) : Why it's so easy to make things complicated but so hard to make things easy ? ... I never asked someone to edit the server.lua and there no need at all to manually edit the snapviews - I already enabled the snapviews save function in the provided files. There is no reason to do it via a file edit any more. Set up your preferred FOV and eye-position by using the numpad keys and than simply press [R-Alt + Num0 ]. Easy , Isn't it? I just asked people to share their observations with me - whatever -seems no one of the 60 people that have downloaded the files are able to do it (Yes! - add a picture of a sad clown right >Here<) , so I will climb into each cockpit my own now - make my notes - change things here and there - and reloade DCS - just to see what I have missed and start over again, and so on. :)
  17. So here comes my "standard Ka-50 newbie reply" : First download Bigfoots interactive training missions >>> KA-50 Black Shark 2 Training missions Read also besides the manual this: DCS: Black Shark... Technical, Simplified -Coaxial Rotor Aerodynamics -Trimming the Ka-50 Black Shark <<<!!!! very important to understand this fully! -Part 1 - Autopilot <<<this too! -Part 2 - Autopilot and when you are confident about your cyclic-trim, you want to read about your rotor-pitch trim (aka collective brake): Is it even possible to maintain speed and/or altitude? And when you still have time , read this too: A Stick and Rudder Man's Guide to DCS: Black Shark Here is a useful tweak if you using real rudders*: How to unchain the rudder from trim - solution Things you want to have some day too: KA-50 collective: another picture-tale Two MS FFB2 with Cougar Grip Welcome aboard! *and if you use a FFB stick or not the "Central Position Trimmer Mode"
  18. ! To play absolutely save: -Make sure you start DCS with admin rights. -un-install the A-10C module via the DCS module manager. -Than reboot your system -verify the un-installation of the A-10C module to be absolute save: Windows Start -> type "regedit" -> [enter] Navigate in open editor at the left side to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/software/Eagle Dynamics/... Make sure there is no "Warthog" folder If yes: Right click it and choose 'delete'. -than do a re-installation of the A-10C module with admin rights
  19. First : Is EMC installed with admin privileges? Try: -please run DCS and select a DCS-defaut profile. -Close DCS -Run EMC -And create a totally new profile. as written in the quick-start Manual pdf. Windows Start - > All programs -> Easy Monitor Configurator -> EMC 2.0 QuickStart Manual And report back - if it fails: Please add more details info. more = better Do it in a way that I'm able to recreate your steps.
  20. Please add more (much more detailed) info what exactly is happening. About the browser >>>
  21. EMC can't find your A-10C registry key/install . Please tell if there is something unusual about your A10C module installation. Could it be that your installed EMC/A-10c Without admin rights? Ad all possible info. Maybe a reinstall of the A-10C 1.2.4 module for DCS World will fix it.
  22. lets open a own forum-section where stranded pilots can post their coordinates and server ip where to pick them up :D
  23. the drive should be the fastest you have - and this partition should not share the same drive as your system (if possible) and install it as admin and give everything that has to run together with DCS admin privileges
  24. Well - wanna help?! :bounce::smilewink: >>> http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1745173#post1745173 I have a very tight time-frame the next week and I want to push this mod out as soon as I can. When I cant do it till Thursday it will have to wait for the next 8-10 days.
