  1. Wouldn't you think that early supporters (Pre-Orderers) would be able to download the F16C Manual/Guide in advance so as to invest some time in learning about the F-16? ESPECIALLY those who not only pre-order but who have been with DCS from the get-go! Yes, I know the manual might change ever so slightly by the time the module is released, but that's a minor thing.
  2. Thanks guys, but I have advertised the full package on eBay so I don't really want to split it up now as there are so many "Watchers" who are hopefully going to be scooping the gear up.
  3. Sadly, I'm getting out of the combatsim world for now, because I just never have the time to get on the PC these days. Gonna have to get rid of my prized (and unused) works of art - the TM Hotas and MFD's. Have put them on UK ebay along with a host of wicked extras for some lucky guy. Good:thumbup:bye dear friends Tom

    OT: RC A10

Spotted this little video this morning. I want one!!!!! :pilotfly:
  5. I bought the monster Coolermaster V8 before the H50 and I can't begin to tell you how poorly it performed. The H50 (or try the H70) is a dream to install and just DOES IT'S JOB! No fuss, no bother, no fins to clog up with dust (as FD pointed out). Come on, be a water-baby :-)
  6. Found a Viper, same scale ( 1:48 )
  7. Hahahahaa, now THAT's what I call a movie! :megalol:
  8. I'm not into model trains, but WOW!!!
  9. Spotted this lovely 1:48 scale A10 on eBay, produced by the well known Franklin Mint. It's a very heavy die-cast metal model and was a bit of a bargain (for once). I fancy buying a few others in the series including a nice Viper if I can find one.
  10. Nice one :megalol: (And very true). My TMWH cost me £330 and has better tolerances than my £30k Jag! :)
  11. I've got a 5870 and was thinking about inserting another, but I don't think the sim will take too much advantage of such a setup, so the extra noise, heat and money didn't seem worth it.
  12. Flanker - Sorry my friend, I don't quite understand you.
  13. FD mentioned the PC case and yes, that's so important in terms of keeping temps down (CPU and GPU). I have 4 "regular" fans and 1 "large" fan on the side of the case. They were positioned to aid the flow of cool air in and warm air out. And no, they're not noisy - I bought ultra quiet fans.
  14. Absolutely agree with you Coolts!! I bought an X-Box from PCWORLD and it developed a (common) problem so I took it back and they said I had to send it back to the manufacturer. I don't bloody think so matey! YOU send it back!! Then it broke a further 3 times and I was getting pretty pi$$ed by now and when I took it back AGAIN, the fruitcake told me "because we've replaced it so many times, we can't do anything about it anymore". Hahahahaa, 9 months into it's warranty. You can imagine what I said. Haldrauds also tried to get me to go to the manufacturer when my TomTom broke. I explained to them that I bought it from Halfrauds, not TomTom. I guess there's a lot of people who do exactly as they're told by their supplier. More fool them.
  15. Good vid ScarFace, but it doesn't have the same "magic" that the original did (IMHO). Sad b'stard that I am, Falcon4 was like my first kiss - I'll never forget it :) And lets not forget....
  16. Boy, the good old Amiga! I adored my Amiga years! A500 and A2000.
  17. I think you'll find it was you who was drunk, lol. I remember walking home from town with that "heavy" box - something which we sadly no longer experience.
  18. I remember seeing this intro for the very first time and being soooooo excited about what was to follow when I got into that cockpit. Revolutionary!!! (Note the lone Hawg under attack)
  19. That's a sensible OC Bumfire! I must admit that although I have no issues at 4Ghz, it might make sense to drop it slightly because in practise, the difference in performance "in-game" is negligible.
