Most likely you've pressed the TDC action button. There are two different bindings for this. One that you have to hold the button and another that toggle the state. You'll have to see which one you prefer. See more info about it here on this pinned topic:

The thing is that when creating mark points with aircraft like the hornet and the warthog, if you do it while designating a target with the laser, you can point the TGP to the target instead of the ground below it. The laser designation brings that offset data to the mark point. You can easily see this when you point, for example, the hornet's TGP to a target and laser designate, it changes the coordinates. The harrier does not change and I've noticed the f-15 does not change it too. Maybe I'm doing something wrong and would appreciate any help. I know that the workaround is as simples as pointing the TGP to the ground, but if someone could point me in the right direction if I'm doing some mistake or confirm that's the way it works I'll be satisfied. I was experimenting with stuff in the mission editor and noticed this. I did put a wwii flak group on an point on the map and another group with some searchlights on another point but still inside the flak area of engagement. Even though the searchlights worked and pointed to the aircraft, the flak didn't fire. I suspected that the searchlights should be in the same group as the flak in order for the flak to have the information of the position of the aircraft seeing by the searchlights. So I did that and it worked, the flak fired because the searchlight was in the same group. So the question is if it's possible to make different groups share the information on the position of the "enemy".

You can actually add a unit to be the first one. Just select the 1st unit of the group and click the + button. The new unit will be number 1. Maybe not what you're looking for, but may solve your problem. The thing is the + button adds a unit before the selected one.

I used to create some points with the datalink to use bombs eventually and just for keeping some positions. Now the points are kinda off by some meters. Just wanted to know if this is intended behavior. By the way, tested hot start a few km from the target and even already in the air very close to target. There's another thing related to this, if you active pause the aircraft and create the target point, when you try to uncage the shkval on that position it just goes to the right like crazy. I've seen that this new alignment changed a lot of this stuff, so I'm just trying to understand if I can get a better position to the targets.

The title pretty much says it all, I didn't quite understand the ME checkbox for "COLD AT START". Even without it ticked, the units I put in the map in ME start cold(no difference in brightness for it's surroundings on ccd). no difference if spawned on mission start or late activation. Since the option is there, I'd like to know if it's possible to start with the units already hot. Thanks in advance.

Yea, less frames probably because more detail. I'm on the verge of having to upgrade my pc. But I suppose there's no remedy. It's this or keep flying the less detailed model.
