  1. Hi CH, did you have time to check out a functional tank transport yet ? Tanks are not allowed on main roads due to their immense weight, which can destroy roads and bridges and potential damage to pavements from their tracks. Now in DCS, we need to place the tanks already on the battle zone. No way we can let them get transported to a location from the base. With the one from the German package, the HX81, one can place a static tank on it, but not an AI model. This is due to the height difference of the transport platform and the non-functional slopes to get the tank off the platform. Secondly, we do have the HX81 tractor separately, but not the platform separately. Any way we can get that in addition ? For now, i've just added some more countries to the lua file, so I can still use the HX81 with other countries, even though it's just for the German package.   2. Hi friends, So i added this mod and it seems to work fine so far. There is only one error type on the European sedan vehicle in the log file. So i'm just going to remove these lines from: the 'entry' file : mount_vfs_texture_path (current_mod_path.."/Textures/mold_sedan") the 'db_cap_vehicles.lua' : --Old Euro Sedan vehicle_file("vehicles/mold_sedan_new.lua") vehicle_file("vehicles/mold_sedan_used.lua") vehicle_file("vehicles/mold_sedan_worn.lua") vehicle_file("vehicles/mold_sedan_abandoned.lua") the 'db_cap_vehicles_static.lua' : -- Static Objects add_fortification({ Name = "Euro Sedan Broke", DisplayName = _("CAP - Euro Sedan Broken"), ShapeName = "mold_sedan_broke", Life = 1, Rate = 5, ShapeNameDestr = "mold_sedan_destroyed", category = 'Fortification', SeaObject = false, isPutToWater = false, positioning = "ONLYHEIGTH", classname = "lStandartStructure", --numParking = 1, }) Remove all the rest of the 'mold sedan'- type texture and shape files. (Just type 'mold' in the search bar) Then it should be fine.
  3. I don't know. The logs already give out so many errors, even with the defaults from ED. Loads of errors and warnings already as it is. It's crazy... I know Rudel usually keeps good track over older mods if they are working or not. That's why i like following his opinion.
  4. Yes, i saw it. But the mod is so old, i wondered if it is still working and compatible with today's DCS version. I tried contacting Eght Ball, but he hasn't responded yet. There doesn't seem to be any updated version either. I sure loved this mod at that time, and now that i found it again......I don't know. The logs already give out so many errors, even with the defaults from ED.

  11. Hi DCS Team, I would like to propose the idea of a terrain/area preview feature for the Mission Editor (ME) when creating missions. Given the significant variations between terrains, it can be challenging to determine if it's feasible to place objects or navigate through specific areas. A small 3D preview window would be extremely helpful. Even for placing ships, it is important to consider routes that allow passage through rivers where dams might be present or where their route could be blocked. In such cases, a 3D previewer would be handy while creating/ editing missions in the ME, to scout the area first, before placing objects. This may be accessible through a right-click of the mouse or an option window that appears when clicking on an area of interest. Kind regards, RWC.
