  1. Good to know. I just have to continue training... :)
  2. I am curious. Is it really easier to refuel using rudder pedals? I am training to refuel my picky M-2000 with my X56, no pedal a stiff twist axis, and so far I am struggling...
  3. That makes sense. Thanks :)
  4. Self explaining title... I am wondering what are the four frequencies usually given at the bottom of mission briefings. Are the four of them for the ATC???
  5. Does anyone use SRS with a wireless Bose headphone? I have some problem when I select select the mic of the headset has an input. It works fine when I do the Preview Audio test, but when I connect to an SRS server all the other computer and DCS sounds are shut down. I can only hear the SRS radio messages... I don't get the problem when I select the mic embedded in my screen. Frustrating...
  6. That looks excellent!!!
  7. I am a bit biased because I'm french, but I must agree. Yet, I am really looking forward to put my hand one day on a M2000-5 and launch some fox-3 :joystick: !
  8. I got some radar (or personal skills?) problems too. I just tested on one of the default mission, "Escort the F-16" or something... I found the radar very weak. It could not detect the hot bandit flight just in our 12h, although my wingmen were screaming about contacts less than 15 nm away... I gave up after few tries, went for a mission in bms instead, got killed by a SAM, and went to bed...
  9. I hope Eagle Dynamics won't wait too long before they publish the updates. We are waiting for the F-16, hmmm? I'll have to shoot down few Vipers by frustration.
  10. I agree with you, but that's a pity...
  11. Eagle Dynamics Matt Wagner wrote “The campaign will be real-time and basically be an AI-driven RTS playing out that the player participates in" . I think that's the best way. I would love to see a real time RTS very similar to BMS, run aside and controlling the DCS 3D environment. As in BMS, the AI headquarters would issue missions run by defaults by AI pilots, and play alone the campaign. Then a player joining the server can check the list of incoming missions, take a seat in one of it (i.e. just replacing one of the AI pilot), and request that the mission be rescheduled to the next 10-20 (?) minutes, time for other real pilots to join the package. The headquarter AI could also be replaced by most decorated players. Ideally pilots should be somehow evaluated on their ability to follow as much as possible the flight plan, not only their kill rate. Obviously the RTS engine would needs to encapsulate and unspawn all the units that are out of radar range, so no need to compute complex engagements between ground units. Sorry, I am just dreaming awake…
